Yes, I am still in mah bunker playing Football Manager.  First 5 seasons of my reign resulted in finishing 8th, 7th, 6th, 8th (but won Europa League), 5th (PLUS won Shempions League B).  The last Continental triumph culminated in a 2-1 win over Real Fucking Madrid.  What a simulated life, this.

Bramley Moore Dock Stadium opened in Season 6, and there was much rejoicing.  I also went 3-for-3 in European Cup title matches, with with an August “Super Cup” win over Shempions League A defending champ Newcastle.

Pretend Evertonian life is just the tits, y’all.  I even got Leighton Baines promoted to head coach of my U-23 squadron.  Good old Bainesy.

Since I have a Demmycratic/sane Governor, I will remain under quarantine another 2 weeks (minimum).  I am happy to do my duty as a good citizen.

If governors in the states where these protests are happening actually gave a shit, they would send in the National Guard and never allow anyone who is in that crowd to leave from where they are for the next two weeks because they are all now walking public health threats.

I guess it’s good that they’re chickenshits. I would say it would end up being used against non-Republicans except that the violent police responses to liberal and leftist protests since 2003 is exactly the model of state violence that deserves to be inflicted against people who are genuine public dangers. But remember then for the next time Black Lives Matters members get their heads kicked in and locked in overcrowded cages for 72 hours without access to restrooms or medicine or breathing space like what happened in Baltimore.

I think I found me another Scando series worth the watch on The Netflix. It’s listed as “Gentlemen” but is actually “Gentlemen and Gangsters”, a Swedish thingy that is poorly described as a ‘romantic thriller’. It’s set in 70’s Stockholm and there is a whack of period detail and plenty of dough has been put into production. The first episode doesn’t give much away but you can see some narrative threads developing.

It’s only six hours and change so I’m in. That’ll at least keep me from pining for season 3 of Bordertown for a bit.
