I apologize in advance and in arrears for my posts this week. This Sexy Friday will not feature music and I was not able to post an Eventual Balls Thoughts post because it’s been quite the week at work. In between three industrial accidents I had to report/document, some disciplinary issues I had to deal with, and a COVID test I had to take for work (Passed. Yay!), I’ve been crazy busy.

Eventual Balls Thoughts will return with a vengeance next Tuesday with a few tweaks. I’ve found that now that football season has started, the volume of comments has gone way up on weekends and there simply isn’t enough time to sift through everything. So, I’m going to restrict the comments I include in Eventual Balls Thoughts to the regular posts and the weeknight Open Threads.

I encourage everyone to participate in the Sunday game Open Threads or at the very least to go back over them on Monday after you read Hippo Thoughts. There is seriously a lot of gold in there, Jerry.

Speaking of Jerry, I was watching Rick and Morty and the train episode was on and I laughed so hard when they introduced the phrase “cum gutters”! I really want to use that in everyday life but it’s difficult to figure out how to work that into a conversation.

I’ll find a way, though, and I’ll report back when I’m able to make it happen.
