The news:

-An “immunized” (read by the world and The Shield: not vaccinated) Aaron Rodgers has covid. That means he is now OUT for Sunday’s tilt against the Chefs, which means that for one week at least it’s officially Jordan Love time! I’m sure Rodgers is hoping his backup balls out and throws for 6 TDs.

(All of them to the Chiefs.)

Rodgers joins practice squad QB Kurt Benkert and WR Davante Adams with covid, in addition to WR Allen Lazard and defensive coordinator Joe Barry in covid protocols.

-Saints WR Michael Thomas has had a setback with his current injuries, as he’s gotten a new and separate ankle injury. He is expected out for the year after being on the PUP list for his previously surgically repaired ankle.

-In a Crimebeat! update, WR Henry Ruggs III has been released by the Raiders for the shit he did.

-Happy Astros Schadenfreude Day! Peace be with you, and fuck Altuve. I hope this young Bengals team is watching how to NOT handle adversity watching Cleveland go through….exactly what bringing a guy like OBJ to your team makes you go through when you’re trying to build with young talent.

Also, OBJ is worth $25mil (according to the internet — seems low to me; I’d guess 2-3x that, back of the napkin). What the fuck kind of behavior is this shit when you’re that rich? If your job is run go routes and get ignored every single play, then that’s your job. Or sign one-year prove-it deals every season so you can pick your home and make sure you’re getting Final Year Kobe (in the NBA, not in life) stats.

I know, complaining about millionaire babies being just that is old. But I still think it needs to be done. It’s wrong to act as if there is any excuse for his behavior. The man is a clown.
