Is there anything riveting about this game? Both teams are wallowing in mediocrity and the most salient question regarding each is, ‘who survives the fallout at season’s end?”. I guess I should point out that with Fields out for Chicago, one Large Appendage Nick Foles gets the start. Oh, something else-I discovered yesterday that one of my nephews just started playing fantasy football this year. We had a nice chat about the merits of Lockett vs D.K.-that was nice.
Steelers/Chiefs:

Tomlin might be my dark horse candidate for Coach of the Year given that there’s nothing about this team that says, ‘above .500’ and yet they somehow are. Like Old Bill, he makes games ugly and weird and then seizes on opportunities when they arise.

I think my most recent shoulder thing has been fixed. Probably a pinched nerve, but had a deep tissue massage a couple nights ago and it hurt like a bitch for a bit before turning over and has been fine since. Either fixed, or killed the nerve. Fine with either. I was totes close to going to the doc, but nothing would have happened because as a woman I am clearly hysterical and not in actual pain.
I do not want to be the bearer of (hypothetical) bad news, but I thought I had tennis elbow and/or a shoulder issue – MRI showed it was a cervical disk thingy. My neck had NEVER hurt, but that was causing it all, pinching a nerve at the root.
Yeah. My PCP (who was actually an NP) kept checking to make sure my nerve issue wasn’t a neck issue. She was pretty convinced (or just being cautious).
I think I have a bone spur growth issue, this has happened a few times now, usually okay within a month, this one closer to 2. Will just keep up with massages and foam rolling hope to break off whatever

Serious question: Have you considered / been able to get a woman PCP? I’ve heard from women friends I know in the biz that… well, they think they’re better with that stuff, anyways, cuz they face it themselves as doctors.
I have a good one now (I think). They’re a mixed bag, my last female PCP was shit, hence switching and this one seems awesome so far.
I had a pinched nerve and a frozen shoulder and they made me do PT for like 6 months instead of just giving me a pill to make it all go away.
Fuck modern medicine.

Today was made for leftovers. Took a slab of the leftover rib eye roast, cubed it up with some onion and par- cooked potatoes and made a kick ass hash. Couple two-tree sunnyside up eggs and some toast? The money spent on the roast was recouped by the lack of expense of this meal.
Man, you get those little bits of meat nice and crispy?
