Only the three games for the second half of the afternoon. Let’s dig in.
Colts/Raiders:
This game? Well I guess somebody has to play somebody else. Irsay and Davis’ teams are both circling the drain but they’re both of them making millions while doing so. Kinda funny that Saturday will likely be a coach longer than McDaniel. I’m thinking the latter gets shitcanned at the end of this year and Saturday gets the boot at the end of next year when a legit search is actually conducted.
Cowboys/Packers:
A few games into the season this would have been seen as a potential preview of the NFC Championship Game but things have gone very, very south for Green Bay and there’s no indication that things are getting better. It couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy. It’s been 14 years since the Packers have lost four straight games. Will they roll out the cheese carpet for Mike McCarthy though?
Cards/Rams:
Circumstances are fuzzy regarding when Stafford got his concussion but my sources tell me he got up too fast from his 11th plate at the Old Country Buffet in Bakersfield. With all that blood rushing from his head to his belly he lost his balance and cracked his skull on the edge of the table and then hit the floor hard. As he lost consciousness he whispered, “Pumpkin pie, put a slice of pumpkin pie in your purse” into the ear of his wingnut wife. She blames her husband’s current status on a Globalist Cabal of Rogue Jews because of course she does.
Enjoy.
“The Third Place Dallas Cowboys” is a phrase that keeps reverberating in my mind. Not sure why…
I mean, fuck Rodgers, but good for Green Bay.
This is such a weird feeling, actually kind of wanting the cows to not lose
Still okay with them losing though!
McCarthy like loss at Lambeau
Oh my.
Dak had too many mistakes and Run D continues to be an issue
The non-call for PI was brutal.
That said, dead on about the run D, and Mike McCarthy’s decision-making is simply terrible. Certainly not a surprise though.
.
UGH, the “hurr durr, the GOATs is BACK” narrative this week.
that’s game
Qaron pulling this out would be just lovely from a Giants fan’s perspective.
Some heroic fail by Dak. Followed by some ridiculous demonstration of fauxrage by McCarthy
Dallas may as well walk off the field at this point.
Still ok with Dallas going for it but fuck, just run Dak
That was the perfect opportunity for a Quick Kick by Prescott.
Yes, Mike. It’s the HEADSET’s fault
Woooooooow
Jesus Christ, just run Dak
Boy howdy, we REALLY SEEN SOME SHIT today
That is blatant pass interference.
Just the dumbest and most undisciplined team imaginable.
[laughs in Raiderese]
Tolbert so far off-sides we might have well been playing ‘Where’s Waldo’ trying to find him in the stadium.
A PROFESSIONAL WR LINED UP OFFSIDE
*Rookie Professional WR
But I can’t recall the last time I even saw that at the JV level??
where were these plays in Q4?
OT? Guess I’ll be waiting an extra 15 minutes for the shuttle
Shuttle got here and the driver IS wearing a Cowboys jacket, lol
Lol yup thats Dallas
As a Redacteds fan you may also be on a watchlist at DFW. Non zero chance.
Only if they haven’t updated the list in a while, I will reconsider returning to fandom if/when the team is sold
“I was several miles outside Barstool when the droogs kicked in.”
-Qaron
that famous Non-Gendered discipline, yo
How do you get a penalty on a touchback?!
Where there’s a flag, there’s a Cowboy.
It helps if Mike McCarthy is your coach and there are no consequences for anything.
Extra Liquor time!
Yessir!
The way this last quarter worked out I’m just happy Dallas won the win toss and remembered to take the ball.
Win toss actually works.
Mike McCarthy is clearly affecting me adversely.
Those last two plays are the dumbest things I have ever seen on a football field.
Did you see last years playoff game?
“I’d like a minute or two for rebuttal to that comment.” – Bengals fans
You both raise fair points, but I think these were dumber because there was no point in even running them. There was no way either would result in a score, there was no time left to attempt a FG if one went long enough, so just kneel on it. Why even try them?
Was that Qaron mouthing off to Lafleur? Couldn’t see that coming from several hallucinogens away.
Run it out
Nobody here seems to understand how time works.
This is “me having quantum physics explained to him by Stephen Hawking” level of confusion.

What game are these announcers watching? Turpin didn’t have a mental gaffe at all; the ball bounced in the end zone, the ref failed to whistle it dead, Turpin reacted as he should have and grabbed it until the ref corrected his error.
They’ve been away off all game too, otherwise I wouldn’t care.
Green Bay has so much confidence in Aaron Rodgers they ran the ball twice in a tie game with under a minute left.
Curiouser and curiouser
Dallas cannot tackle running backs.
This does not seem ideal.
Seems to be a common problem this year
and Dak just gave the ball back to Rodgers
The line gives you that much time and you elect to throw that pass?
McCarthy is going to run it twice, looking to bleed clock, then leave Dak with a long 3rd down and an obvious passing situation, followed by the O-line giving Dak 1.2 seconds to throw the ball.
Rodgers gets the ball back with 58 seconds left.
Unravel the narrative as you have been taught.
yeah, i’ve seen this game before
Or do something even dumber, I guess
But I’m having a good time.
Plane landed an hour early, through customs and immigration in 2 minutes, still waiting for the hotel shuttle and will probably be here till the night game starts
Also still waiting for the front desk to get back to me re: shuttle arrival times
Driver’s still watching the Cowboys game
Further update – still tied; still cold.
I made a commitment to watch the Raiders if they are on broadcast TV this season, but I think I’m releasing myself from it the way Raiders tight ends apparently release balls they are in the process of catching while on the goal line (I did not see the highlight, fortunately).
The defender made a hell of a play.
And here come the outstanding late-game decisions we’ve come to expect from a team coached by the disciplined Mike McCarthy.
Wilson got burned. Dallas needs to clock killing drive here
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH….
Oh, you were serious.
