At least the Knicks will make the playoffs but get absolutely stomped in 4 by the *checks seeding currently* Celtics. How are you the 5th best team in the league but it’s a no contest against the top 3? Healthy, not healthy, you could probably put 5 of us out there in Celtics green and we’d somehow beat the Knicks by 20. There’s no explanation otherwise for this year.

At least it’ll be Opening Day tomorrow, where the Yankees will raise a dreaded “only an AL pennant” banner, because for one week in October, who needed sound pitching decisions, or defense, or anything else for that matter? Will there be defense? Eh, probably not, as you move Jasson Dominguez away from his natural center field for Cody Bellinger, whose natural position is mostly right, but you have Judge there, who is a natural right fielder but has mostly played center for the last two years due to necessity, including waiting for Dominguez. Someone make this make goddamn sense. Beats my own damn team, as, well, next week there’ll be a Nocturnes Magazine. It wasn’t a good road trip.
