Which is to say, nothing disappoints, frustrates, and infuriates me (in that order) than nobody coming to class for the first 40 minutes.

It’s a 50 minute class. I was signing out of the computer and putting on my coat and “dismissing the class early” when a student finally showed up.

I mean, better late than never, especially for an overdue playing quiz, but you could have used that time to practice and warm up, which might also be helpful for it.

Anyway I’m just ranting because I’m drafting this on my phone before makeup students in a few minutes, and because I didn’t write up the Nocturnes Magazine 12-game road trip update last night since I had a gig and just thought of doing that now. In conclusion, come to class… Internet people who are very much not enrolled in my class.

Okay, news:

-Not football related, but what in the fuck are the Fightin’ Ballmers doing, other than probably flooding the zone with weird basketball moves to distract from the cap-circumventing one AND the one where they gave the Thunder all the ammo to be good for the next 6 years even though they may not lose another game this season.

-THE BEN thinks Tomlin could go to the still-vacant Penn State if he parts ways. The Standard is… I’m not gonna finish that sentence for obvious reasons.

-The Thanksgiving Racism Redux Memorial Game (TM) (that would be Chefs vs. N-GCP, because we no longer have the ‘Dacteds) was the most-watched game in NFL history. Because AMURCA. And colonialism.

-Now in the practice window: Mike Evans (TB), Jalen McMillan (TB), Massagefiend (CLE)
