-Last week Seattle ran all over Carolina but San Fran is more than sturdy vs the rush, ranked 6th. Sam, step up to the plate. Luckily he’s got second-year breakout beast Smith-Njigba by his side. Still, the former has averaged an INT per game over the last seven tilts.

-But can the Niners take advantage? The D is (overall) a middling 19th and is surprisingly inept at turning the ball over. They’ve generated a mere 18(!) sacks and a paltry six interceptions all year long.

-They also have 5 starters-including Trent Williams and Kittle-listed as questionable headed into this one.

-These two last played way back in mid-September with the Seahawks announcing their eventual ascension to the league’s elite with a 17-13 W. This one has got to be another one-score game.

Third Down a Key: San Fran led the league in conversion rate there at 51% while their opponent today only allowed 32.4%.
