Senor Weaselo, this title sucks, is everything fine? Yes, except, again, the FF name guide just needs to be out before the end of the month. Today’s the 7th, the DFO leagues (both?) draft(s?)—okay, at least the freezer vodka league draft is in three weeks, so I got time. (If you have any good names, feel free to bring them up and you too may receive a shout-out akin to GTD’s comments of the week!)

I originally thought about going to watch the game tonight because I’m on break from the Jewish calendar, but then got invited to all-you-can-eat Brazilian (Balls’s eyes perk up) barbecue (Balls’s eyes lower) so I don’t get to do that. Which is disappointing because yesterday got rained out, so I could have played my cards right and gone to a single-admission doubleheader. That’s on the bucket list in addition to the stadiums, because that would kick ass! Yes, I actually like baseball, so sue me.

So, what’s in the news?

-Brandon Aiyuk to the… … … Yinzers. UPDATE: Not yet.

-Brandon Harbaugh got out while the going was good, as he’s been hit with a four-year show cause penalty, unrelated to the Michigan probation.

-Injuries to Colts WR Josh Downs and Falcons WR Rondale Moore.

-FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT fines for the Giants and Lions to the tune of $200K apiece.

What Olympics are on tonight?
Primetime NBC: Men’s 110m hurdles semis; men’s 3m springboard semis; men’s 400m hurdles semis; women’s pole vault

Others:
Men’s team table tennis semis (Japan vs. Sweden, 8:00, USA)
Women’s field hockey semis (Belgium vs. China, 9:30, USA)
Men’s beach volleyball semis (USA vs. Qatar, 10:30, USA)

Well, you can’t even watch the White Sox losing streak, because they snapped that. So…

And there’s the Central American Cup if you have *zooms in on channel logo* Fox Soccer Plus.

In the meantime on writing time streaming there’s… the same stuff that’ll be going on in primetime when I’ll be at dinner, and probably better commentated, cool.

How are y’all watching the Olympics? Fubo proved pretty good for NFL and has all our local MLB games but we’re still missing a bunch of olympic stuff. Like, I would have liked to see the Turkish assassin or some surfing but NBC ain’t showing it in it’s prime time recap

I just inked a 2-year deal with Spectrum to get 500MB internet for $30/month. I assume that’s good, considering the ass-raping I’ll get if I don’t find another deal once the two years are up.

Assuming it works reliably, that’s a great deal.

Xfinity’s current offer is $35/mo for 300MB. I pay $250/mo with 1200MB and all the channels. Oh yeah, that also means I get HBO Max for free.

We were offered pretty much that same deal, but something like 75-80% of our HOA had to approve it. They had the vote a month ago, in the dead of summer. This place is mostly Canadian snowbirds, so not enough people voted. Idiots. It would have saved us about 60 bucks a month.

Peacock app. Their Gold Zone channel is amazing, their multiview (4 screens at a time) can be good, but you can’t pick the events. Otherwise, you get the world feed of every event.

And best, afterwards, you’ll have access to all the Premier League games not aired on NBC or USA.

I climbed up to the tippy-top of the York Minster years ago, damn near killed me I was only 30, but I smoked back then. Oh by the way, the 26th anniversary of me quitting was the other day, on the 4th. I did it on my mom’s birthday. She would have turned a hundred this year! My grandmother damn near made it, she was 96. Gumby’s grandfather made it to 101.
