Poll question. I am starting to hate my current job. Stressful enough I had a breakdown recently.
Got a cold call email from a CEO. On a lark, I did the interview even though since the breakdown, I struggle to talk. Smoked the interview. Dude wants a number to haggle for pay.
Benefits- new start. Most likely about a 20% pay raise, and the job doesn’t have the utterly insane travel I am currently doing (so while my base pay will go up, I will technically be bringing in less cash as I won’t be doing 80 hours a week at random sites around the globe).
Cons- I have to move 3 states over (but much closer to family). They have no clue that just four weeks ago, I was under psych evaluation in a hospital from the breakdown. I’m still struggling with panic attacks, severe verbal ticks, and I tend to twitch a lot.
So I take the job?
Fuck yes. You take that job yesterday.
