Also; no: I respect tapping into one’s creative resources and talents and appreciate how you are doing it.
Through work and life in general I have let that side of me atrophy. That is a fucking stupid thing to do.
I’m going to draw it how I see it, but you provided the basic idea, which is what I was looking for to start the whole thing. So much better than “here I drew this hope you like it.” We get the best of both worlds; you get an original drawing based on your vision, I get to create something I might not have come up with on my own. And so far, I’m having fun.
Also, it is never too late to go back to any creative pursuiit. Believe it or not, I’d taken several years off of drawing during some of the more hectic periods of my work life, and it was always a huge regret until I picked it back up again. I always recommend rekindling any creative impulse.
