Cut to commercial break. When the “ON AIR” light comes on, Cam sits silently, scowling.

PRODUCER: (through earpiece) Cam, you want to say something? Maybe introduce yourself, say hello to all the listeners out there?

CAM: Nope.

PRODUCER: All right, all right, that’s fine. Maybe we just open up with some music, we’ve got Paul Simon’s “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover” all queued up, just hit the button to get it started.

CAM: [sits with his arms folded and does nothing]

PRODUCER: What’s the matter? Go ahead, give it a spin, our listeners love it.

CAM: [shakes head]

PRODUCER: Aw, come on, Cam. It’s a great song! You don’t like it?

CAM: Got outplayed, bro.

PRODUCER: Well, listen, maybe you can call up something from the Starland Vocal Band, or something out of John Denver’s catalogue…

CAM: Denver didn’t do anything special.

PRODUCER: Okay, but we’ve got some serious dead air here. We’ve gotta get something rolling.

CAM: I don’t know what you want me to say.

PRODUCER: Well, you like music, don’t you?

CAM: [nods, almost imperceptibly]

PRODUCER: So the theme for today’s show is “Songs about Leaving”. Just pick something along those lines and play it.

CAM: Naw, man, I don’t think so. I’m done. [removes headphones and leaves studio]
