That’s right sports fans.  Baseball is back.  Sort of.

MLB Spring Training is in full swing and exhibition games get going this weekend.

Moreover, by the time you’re reading this on Friday I will already be back home, hopefully at least a little drunk, after having watched some (hopefully good) college baseball live and in person n junk earlier this afternoon.

Sports NOT Called Baseball

The NHL is getting interesting.  At least for me.  The Caps and Pens appear ready to duel to the finish.  Dammit.  And hey, ‘member when the Avalanche were good?  Meh, terrible hockey is a small price to pay for legal weed I suppose.

NHL Friday Slate

The most interesting thing about the NBA I found this week was this list of the allegedly greatest 50 NBA players in history.  LeBron #2?  M’Kay.  Also, in the NBA All-Star game the West topped the East in a defensive struggle….192-182 is your final.

College basketball is slowly but surely limping towards March.  Meh.  Suck it, Duke.  Also, ‘Cuse….you can’t have the “Cardiac” name descriptor.  That name’s already been taken.

Still lotsa games to be played before March Madness starts in 3 weeks.
