  • Oof –  marijuana possession and public intoxication.
    • this follows missing the Alamo Bowl while at TCU because he punched a cop.
  • What is it about backing up Russell Wilson that drives Seahawks QBs to immolate their careers?
• On the heels of this comes the INSANE rumour that the Seahawks are considering Colin Kaepernick should they decide to cut bait on Boykin.

NFL News, Raiders:

• The vote was 31-1.
  • Any idea why the Dolphins would vote no?
    • officially, “Stephen Ross expressed public disappointment about the move Sunday to the Bay Area News Group, comparing an NFL team to a utility”, but that doesn’t answer my question.
  • Apparently, according to Florio, $400 million in savings & concessions mysteriously appeared in the last 24 hours before the vote.
• They will play in Oakland for 2017 & 2018, having secured two one-year leases.
  • Bowl-cut left open the possibility of playing there in 2019, but as revenues decline the team might become the NFL’s “Bingo Long Travelling All-Stars”.

• Proving he just doesn’t get it, Mark Davis said:

“First off, I wouldn’t use the term ‘lame duck,’” he said. “We’re still the Oakland Raiders, and we are the Raiders, we represent the Raider Nation.
