I just got a work email from a random supervisor asking me where I am on some random testing that Japan expected done by last week.
This email just now was the first i heard about any of this shit.
I’ve been stuck trying to get this simulator for one of our medium voltage products up and running. Its been a nightmare because the guy that “designed” the thing….and I am being exceptionally loose with the term “designed” is a bit of a jackass. All his drawings are hand done.
The drive product works on 4160V drives and higher…I have 480VAC. So its not as easy as just turning the fucking thing on. Its never run once and three separate people have already blown up the fucking thing.
So the last couple of days, I am basically trying to re-invent the wheel…and now apparently my time was sold to another business unit and no one told me.
So office boss is like “Well we just need your input by 9am on this testing”

When its the top programs, it can be entertaining…the problem is once you drop out of the top 3 programs, its the edge of a cliff in terms of talent.
I spent my college years in Nor Cal during the height of the Jamarcus Russel era, which was a lot of fun for me, but I got to know some actual good Raiders fans that stuck around through that.
