I turned 21 in 1980. I spent the first half of the decade sailing around Asia and the Indian Ocean, having a lot of fun in liberty ports from Mombasa to Thailand to Hong Kong to Pusan to Singapore to The Philippines to Australia among others. Spent the second half of the 80s in college, which while different from the first half of the decade, was still a lot of fun. I didn’t give a fuck about any musician’s funny haircut, but man I had me a time.

Just had my follow up. The first thing they said was that they were shocked at just how well I was moving around less than 24 hours out. So all the gym work the last few months paid off. She said the drains were doing their job and are progressing nicely, but it might be a couple weeks before I can get them yanked. Said the amount of muscle repair they had to do was minimal. And then she changed my bandages and we’ll just say, pulling the old ones off were…unpleasant to say the least. But they said everything looked pretty spectacular. And they think once everything is healed I should look really good. Then she showed me a picture of what they cut off and I almost passed out.? All in all, its going great, just gotta keep doing what I’m doing. Once the nerve blockers wear off though tonight, then things might get a little fun.
Just trying to stay ahead of the game on pain management. The clock is ticking on those nerve blockers. The next couple days might get rough. But once you’re through those, then you can get to healing. Got ALL THE DRUGS.
