Hit it!
TO THE GAMES!
Broncos/Chargers:
The te spot has been death to most fantasy owners this year but there’s hope on the horizon for next year. Noah Fant , as long as he’s targeted a fair bit, responds with catches, first downs and TD’s. Contract situations aside, the Chargers are very well set up skill position-wise. Now it’s time to address some missing parts on D and the o-line.
Panthers/Team:
Who does Team start at qb? Haskins can make plays with his wheels but can’t do the same downfield because of accuracy issues and Smith can’t either because of noodle issues. CMC is “dying to play” but that doesn’t make him any different than any other player that’s been in the league for a period of time. See: Kevin Greene.
Eagles/Cowboys:
Thanks to improved qb play neither of these squadoos is the pushover they were earlier in the season. Hurts and his threat of running have made the Eagles competent on third and fourth down and has (obviously) led to more plays from scrimmage. In just a few weeks he’s created 17 new sets of downs. The winner here increases their slim playoff hopes to “could use a few pounds”.
Rams/Seahawks:
The Los Angeles “Wide Range of Outcomes” Rams come to Seattle after getting shell-shocked emotionally by the Jets. T’ would seem that as goes the Rams o-line, so goes one Jared Goff. L.A. won the first time around but the rb’s they played against were Collins and DeeJay Dallas. (gawd, isn’t that the perfect name for a cokehead villain on a Miami Vice episode?) This round Seattle has the full complement of Carson, Hyde and Penny. Also, Akers is a no-show due to an anklet strain.
Be stylish yet constrained in the comment section, please.
I’m not sure who Philly’s OC is, but his decision to do anything but run on 3rd and 4 should be grounds for execution, never mind firing.
Philly has no Cox today.
They have meds for that now.
Sean Lee playing out of his mind.
Sean Lee playing out of his mind for the last 4 seasons.
Because of all the concussions, you see.
Randy Gregory is such a good player when he’s not being suspended for smoking pot, something that is or should be legal by now.
These players should be allowed to take whatever drug they want.
I don’t know why they even test for it, it’s not a performance enhancer. Unless you’re in a hot dog eating contest.
Because the NFL is 32 old Republican billionaires.
Mistuh Richardson was so raycess that the Black Panthers are now owned by a Demmycrat.
The CBA
Yes, because private employer, league agreement w players, etc. etc.
I’d like to watch them NFL players go all Hanover Fiste out on the field.

Dept of Defense civil service here; we’ve been instructed that even if we are stationed in a state with legal weed, we are not to indulge. Not too worried myself, in 22 years with the USAF I have never been subjected to a test for any controlled substances.
STOP TALKING ABOUT BRADY
They’ll forget about him someday, give it 40 years or so.
“I absolutely will not”
Cris Collinsworth
The only time I want to hear about him is the description of a long and painful death.
Stupid penalty Seattle
Since when is light ecru a Ram’s team color?
“Mike McCarthy sends out the FG unit” is something that should be chiseled onto his headstone, hopefully soon.
You should have forged an invitation to one of Pompeo’s parties and sent it to him.
Nice run for Gallop.
I don’t think an offensive strategy relying on Andy Dalton outrushing Jalen Hurts is the way to go here, Dallas.
Sir! Which of the Ivies did YOU attend?
/holy shit, my brain is so borken I went back to Princeton Red coaching y’all
I actually went to Yale Law.
The library. Once. They had a book I needed that UConn didn’t.
I went to the bookstore once. New Haven was a scary shithole back then, not sure how it is now.
Worse
New Haven is great in the area around Yale and the Green. Best pizza on the planet, (Bar, Modern, Pepe’s, in that order. Never thought much of Sally’s). I think Yale closed the bookstore you’re talking about, or sold it to a chain. I know that Cutler’s, a great record store near the bookstore is long gone.
The areas beyond the Green and Yale, however, are not areas you want to wander around in after dark.
Will producers ever quit using grunge as the bumper for Seattle games? I’m not complaining, but there are other musicians from Seattle.
Then how would the public even know what city they are broadcasting from? Who the home team is? THINK OF THOSE WHO DON’T LIVE IN THE PNW.
Give us some Hendrix and Heart once in a while, for Chrissakes.
Let’s not forget Bobby Sherman.

I mean, Dude York’s Christmas album Halftime For The Holidays would be the best source for this week.

I’m probably jinxing it by mentioning it, but it’s not possible that the Jets will have spoiled the playoff dreams of not one but TWO teams this season.
The New York Jets: Not just crushing our own fans’ dreams anymore!

Hurts really has excellent mechanics. Iggles might have something there.
Say what you want about Saban, his players are prepared to play in the NFL.
Which explains his recruiting acumen, despite having the personality of my slippers.
They’re certainly used to being paid to play football.
I want to say that Nick Saban sold his soul for football success.
You know Wentz shit in Hurts cleats before last practice
Who fucking cares about his access to automotive maintenance; the question is whether he can play football or not.

Looks as lifelike as The Polar Express.
FUMBLE!!!
or not.
I mean, it was a fumble, it’s just that Dallas can’t keep it.
Correctamundo, I should have specified “not a turnover.”
—disappointed Andy Reid.\
Shitter’s full, Clark.
That Rams graphic was terrible.
I think Haskins is a saboteur,
I respect his lack of giving a shit for a franchise that gives zero shits about their players
You wanna narrow that one down a bit?
Nah, I like it as is
Really want to Cowboys to “win” the “division” at 6-10, although I’m not sure that’s possible.
Could they do it at 6-9-1? That would be cool too.
Philly can!
Yeah, I think Dallas has to run the table and finish 7-9 to do it. And even then Team has to go 0-2.
CHALLENGE ACCEPTED — WFT
Woot woot. Dallas scores
Thanks Bears for not signing Floyd — LA Rammits
How much has Haskins gotten paid this year and last? I like to think he’s just sticking all that money in a mutual fund and is set for life after fucking up all this year. I plan to do that with a consulting gig at the end of my career, but not nearly as impressive as doing it with the NFL in your early 20s
capitalism is dum
LOOKIT HOW EFFICIENT OUR ECONOMY IS! WE JUST PAY HIGHLY-ATHLETIC YOUNG PEOPLE MILLIONS OF DOLLARS SO THEY CAN SIT ON THEIR ASSES FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES!
Can’t find that kinda efficiency in da USSR, kan you Komrade?
I think we should pay more people to sit on their asses. I don’t get the US’s obsession with work. There’s nothing moral about performing pointless labor when we produce more than enough for all of us to have leisure time. Idle hands are not the devil’s playthings, and UBI would not lead to the moral breakdown of society.
And both sides of the political spectrum are guilty on this score. Dumb Puritan shit.
It’s not just an American phenomenon. I think there’s a bit of a chicken-and-the-egg problem: In the current state of the world, the people who are motivated to get rich/power are the people who are motivated primarily by money/power.
As such, when asked to consider UBI, they project themselves onto humanity in general: since they’re motivated primarily by money/power, they presume that if given sufficient money to survive, most others would never do anything.
Or it’s basic psychology – “Why should I bust my ass to advance in life, when the government will tax me harder to feed/clothe the people that have been on the dole their entire life” .I’m not saying that personally, because even after taxes I earn more than enough that I can retire tomorrow and still have a comfortable life and I’m fully cognizant that with my taxes, I’m sorta repaying the Irish government for giving me this shot at a good life that all too many people are denied through no fault of their own
It’s strongest in the US. Look at the welfare reforms in the 90’s that linked assistance to having a shit job, essentially removing any semblance of market power that low-wage workers had. Look at the moves to deny medicare to people who are unemployed. Look at linking housing assistance to employment, despite the fact that you need a damn address to hold down a job. Other countries may complain about lazy people, but they don’t act against their own interests to shit on poor people with awful employment options
Don’t forget that most civilized countries also provide a good education for everyone, with the hope that the increased skill base will yield dividents later as opposed to saddling people with insane amounts of debt that’d take a miracle to escape from (with the wage stagnation in the States) . Also, healthcare where somehow for some reason, despite spending about twice as much as the rest of the developed world (per capita), yet have a system where most people would take a fucking bullet to the head than get “cured” with a bill running north of 100k (that they don’t have)
And basic research, which the US has also been consistently cutting to historically low levels (pandemic research notwithstanding) over the past couple decades 🙁
(in an extremely sarcastic tone) …Eh, research-shmeesearch… why waste money on R&D, when we can make a killing on enforcing patents from 50 years ago
You don’t need to do research! Look at Elon Musk! You just need to have enough money to buy out the guy who starts Tesla, then rewrite history so that you become that guy!
(casually ignores that China has more billionaires now than the US does)
I despise Elon Musk.
Ditto, especially the simple fact that his businesses are basically running on fumes, but for some reason people ignore all their shortcommings in favour of hyping up his vague promises (which are regularly broken or punted into the future) …
Frankly, I can’t wait until the big automakers start the REAL volume production of EV’s to see how Tesla handles not being able to beat people on prestige and build quality (anyone who’s driven their top of the line cars and then an equally priced Audi/BMW/etc will know what I mean), nor on price (for the cheaper ones).
I mean, the US is clearly an example of a corrupted society, wherein the thing (making money) that was supposed to drive society-benefitting things (research, education, social welfare) is now used to block those beneficial things off.
It’s really mostly just coasting right now on inertia from WWII, but I don’t think it’ll be long now before the world’s best and brightest no longer go to the US, which will gradually result in the US losing its technological and political importance in the world. Hell, it’s already started to happen – Chinese schools been climbing in all the important academic rankings and US academics have been fleeing for Canada and Europe and the Middle East.
Mostly I’m just unsure how long it’ll take for the decline to really kick in.
The pandemic response certainly accelerated it. But it’ll still be a while unless there’s a civil war or something.
Well, 1) I’d count the civil war as part of it. Rome didn’t exactly fall peaceably.
2) I think societal collapse occurs a lot faster than people commonly think it to. Looking at past societies, I think it looks fine and dandy to the people living in those societies up until it collapses, and then boom. It’s only later that historians, in retrospect, start outlining the factors that led up to the collapse, which paints its as more gradual, but I think that’s mostly a glitch in perspective.
(Again, my perspective here is coloured by history and a non-Western-European perspective, in which nations have collapsed and reformed themselves pretty often. We’ve forgotten a lot of this stuff, but, for example, South Korea was a dictatorship within our lifetimes. Also we’re on the FIFTH French Republic.)
When I was in my teens I always thought it would be more fun to live on the decline side of a societal peak, because of the decadence, but I didn’t think I would actually end up experiencing my choice. I think I still agree, and glad I don’t have kids.
The US’ demographic decline is also gonna really accelerate this fucker. Again, another one of those “healthy society” markers that American capitalism has decided to roadblock, to what will be Americans’ eventual dismay.
But not my dismay, since I have no genetic investment in the future!
If my brother ever has kids, I’ll have a 1/4 genetic investment in each of them! Dammit!
I don’t think so. There are many countries in the world where the same ideas/principles hold pretty strongly. Esp. countries that have only more recently developed, as in these societies, the connection between physical labour and survival was much more direct much more recently.
It is true however that the US/Europe/First World has been, more unusually, moving BACKWARDS, in demanding MORE labour from workers rather than less in recent decades, while working conditions are generally improving in the rest of the world (albeit slowly), as these countries become more prosperous and white-collar work becomes more common.
Fair, I’m mostly thinking of policy choices over the past 70ish years and the countries that were in the position to make those policy choices
Uh, just for a point of reference for this discussion (not just aimed at you hippofant), but how many of you guys have actually worked abroad (or better yet) grown abroad and then emmigrated somewhere else?
Meeee.
Hence why I’m often involved in Internet arguments being like, “Hey Americans, you know Asia exists right?”
Well, they keep on bombing it, so surely they have at least a vague notion on where it is, lol
As for me asking, it’s just that on occasion I’ve noticed that people can’t really fathom how most of the world works without actually experiencing it firsthand which led to a couple of really fun “talks” with my macroeconomics professor in Dublin, where he couldn’t comprehend how a nation in the EU could have a 500Euro or less monthly income… PRE-TAX, when the required monthly minimum income’s like twice that (I think what he really couldn’t wrap his head around is WHY no one doing anything about it,lol). That’s why usually I stay away from conversations like ^, because I think I’m a bit too jaded/cynical (thanks to experience) and I don’t want to ruin a good debate 🙂
30% of Republicans would support bombing Agrabah, so no, Americans don’t really need to know where something is to bomb it it seems.
Also yeah. Boy, having political conversations with Americans can be exhausting sometimes, when you have to point out that the US “left” and “right” are the only “left” and “right” that exist in the world. At least, I presume, your Irish professor knows about other countries other than Ireland; sometimes it’s like Americans literally only know about their one country.
The number of times I’ve been asked about Canada here… like shit guys, it’s less than a day’s drive away. JUST GO SEE FOR YOURSELVES.
He knew, lol, it’s just that it really is that hard to comprehend how/why no one is even trying to fix things in the old country (for foreigners I mean) and how people can live without a lot of things taken for granted literally a 3 hour plane-ride away 😀
By the way, it’s amusing how most Americans don’t realize that what they call left and right is basically “really right and REAAAAAALLY right”-wing politics compared to what we have here (both in Ireland and Sweden at least), lol
There’s a political compass meme somewhere where the upper right quandrant is labelled “all American politics”
I totally agree with you on the political spectrum thing. The number of times I have to clarify “classical liberalism” drives me crazy.
But there have been times that I’ve also needed to explain international conservatism to American leftists as well. Like, y’all, homophobia ain’t just an American Christian thing. It ain’t even just an Abrahamic thing! There’s a lot of shitty backwards ass conservatism in the world that’s way worse than what you see in the US.
I don’t think Canada is allowing us ‘Mericans in these days, thanks to our “whatever, it’ll work itself out on its own” approach to Covid.
There’s a big difference, in my mind, between UBI and paying people so much money they literally have no incentive to do anything else for the rest of their life.
Maybe I’m underestimating how much a multimillionaire NFL player would want to become a billionaire. (But there lies another Kapitalist danger as well.)
If they want to do something and enjoy it, then they will. Most of the great discoveries, works of art, and other things that improve the state of humanity have been made by people working for their passion, not because they were motivated by living standards
This is a very good point.
I think that, with the way the world is currently organized, people will inevitably be forced to do things that are not their passion.
Whose passion is to pick up garbage? Or clean toilets? Or be customer service? The number of accountants I’ve met who really love accounting is slim.
I think it’s a nice idea, I might be able to see how that world might work, but I can’t see a path from this world to that world.
We keep increasing our productivity without increasing our leisure. A lot of that work is pointless. While we’ll always need to spend some time on this sort of thing, there’s no reason that most people need to be doing this most of the time. I’m against filling time with unproductive makework just for the sake of working.
I don’t disagree, but the world is currently set up such that productivity is what earns you leisure (theoretically). To decouple them requires a radical new economic/societal organization, and I’ve never heard such a paradigm articulated yet.
There are theoretical paths, but I agree there aren’t practical, achievable paths. In lieu of, I’ll just continue to point out people’s irrational deification of labor for the sake of labor to random people on the internet.
If I never hear another person brag that they like to “work hard, play hard” I’ll be thrilled.
I once had a pretty cool Internet discussion with some socialists (or whatever) about how to get from here to some sort of socialist/communist society. (We weren’t entirely decided on what said society would look like.)
We couldn’t really come up with something that didn’t, at the least, necessitate at least one bloody violent war and a very very high likelihood of slipping into authoritarianism. (See: Stalin, Mao, Kim, Castro, Pol Pot.) A peaceful, democratic transition to a state that could be referred to as something like socialist/communist/egalitarian/whatever doesn’t seem feasible to me, so. I dunno. This comment got depressing.
Anyways, play Disco Elysium.
Nah, I haz better suggestion – Keiserreich (on HoI4) as ‘MURRICA (fuck yeah!), where you get into an n-way civil war in early ’37 against the CSA (not the confederacy, it’s basically Jack Reed’s Commie States of America), ASA (Huey Long’s not-quite-confederacy) and … maybe the West Coast and New England(as a Canadian Puppet) . It’s surprisingly fun, unless you get a MacArthur led coup (I really despise that guy so I stop playing at that point)
Artificial intelligence.
Once robots can pick up garbage and clean toilets and do customer service (accounting may take a little longer) cheaper than humans, then humans won’t be doing those jobs.
Of course, that’s going to create some rather serious distributional problems if a significant number of people aren’t able to sell their labor.
Robots can do these things already.
It’s literally cheaper to use humans. Amazon looked into entirely automating their warehouses. They decided to stick with humans.
And yeah, when the robots do replace blue-collar workers, it’s not going to be the blue-collar workers controlling the robots.
To some extent this is a risk calculation. If demand remains strong or grows over the long term, the robots become cheaper. However, if there’s a downturn you can fire cheap labor, you can’t recoup your capital investment on machines.
Yes, and also you can drive down the cost of cheap labour as needed. The cost of robots will go down over time, but that will be due to and limited by natural technological development. Ultimately though, there will be a fixed price point because the robots demand materials, design, engineering, and programming.
But, evidently, in the US, there is no minimum to which the cost of labour cannot be driven down to. As cheap as a robot can be, a human being can always be made cheaper.
UBI’s not going to work for one simple-ass reason, you guys are already brokeAF as it is, so giving people that sort of living stipend won’t do the economy any favours (unless the US does a complete tax overhaul and that is bloody fucking unlikely). Plus, the net effect will be that shit will go up in price, because with everyone having that UBI, everyone could “afford” new shit they don’t actually need (but want, ’cause the next door neighbour got himself the same unwanted crap).
There’s more to it than just giving people money if you actually want to implement UBI. It’s not a new theory, and the economics behind it have been worked out. As for funding, hey, how about we redistribute some of the $700 billion we use for killing brown people who live in other countries?
Uh, you guys are the ones bombing, so if you stop electing people with so naive understanding on how the world works OR willing to use a war or twenty to distract the US populace from the systemic issues plaguing your country (or even as a way to distract people from the latest political scandal that’s rocked DC), you can definitely use the money… it’s not like you’ve done anything with the countless trillions you’ve spent waging losing wars against nebulous enemies while propping up regimes unfit to run a hot dog stand, in the vague pursuit of “Gimme yer petrol, I mean, democracy for all”
Yeah…I’m not what you would call “representative” of the US Electorate. I know a handful of people who agree with me on this, but the day that there’s actually a candidate from any party that isn’t all about bombing the shit out of people will be the day my faith in humanity is restored.
I blame John Calvin.
Definitely a strong contender for “Worst Calvin”
It’s not a take I 100% agree with, but if you haven’t read it, check out Betrand Russell’s “In Praise of Idleness”
He got in trouble for breaking protocols and going to a strip club, so this may not be the most likely financial planning scenario.
Apparently it was his girlfriend’s birthday party, which…I don’t even know. But while I’m pretty certain this isn’t what’s happening in reality, it’s happening in my alternate fantasy world where I fill in things that don’t matter with the most entertaining version of events.
Also the clouds are made of cotton candy and it rains doughnuts.

Fancies only, no glazed or old-fashioned/cake donuts.
The front-running asshole that is DeSean Jackson is not dead yet!
No, only the good die young.
Said a guy who is still alive in his 70s
The NFC East gets to send a team to the playoffs and Wyoming gets to elect 2 senators, WHAT A COUNTRY!
The NFCE chump will host Brady & the Bucs! So many conflicting emotions ?
You can fit more people in Texas Stadium then live in Wyoming.
And they’d mostly all still vote stupid
Note that DAL is the only NFC East team that resides in a red state.
And that team hosts the playoff game!
Carson hit that hole with a full head
… of steam.
A team that was once 10-0 backs into the playoffs thanks to a two win Jets team? Well done, Pittsblurg!
11-0 IIRC
You are no doubt correct but I can’t hear you over the loud, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP sounds.
Actually, might be that PHI also needs to win in order for us to get Week 17 SNF. Are there even any plausible matchups other than PHI/WAS?
Team is doing their part to ensure the NFC East doesn’t send a .500+ squadoo to the playoffs
Seattle invented losing record playoff teams
But then they went on to be successful, so they didn’t truly PERFECT it
I would call that more of a cartwheel than a somersault, we should ask DJAX in the post-game presser
I see DSJ has learned…nothing about fucking about near the goal line.
Considering he has a Football Celebrations subject on his wikipedia page.

DEJEAN SACKSON!!!!
Double Doink!
That’s My Donks!!!
(WOO!!! not included)
Never go full Cody Parkey
FUN FACT! I could lose BOTH consolation round fixtures today, despite BOTH opponents starting multiple inactive players.
I started multiple inactive players…are we opponents in DFOball consolation?
uh-huh. Trying to avenge my Week 13 loss LMAO
Nah, I think you’re good. Aaron Jones has had some good weeks, but he probably won’t outscore the 5 players on your team that are currently playing or yet to play
That’s former Edmonton Football Team receiver Brandon Zylstra, folks!!
No shit, did they really go Generic Label, too?
They really did. Honestly, I’m amazed it took as long as it did. They E-word isn’t as bad as the R-word, but its usage in polite society has been a no-no for a lot longer here.
Right, y’all is generally WAY MOAR polite (if not much better policy-wise wrt indigenous persons).
/also EFT sounds like a new rave drug
Or possibly a musical group you listen to while ingesting the new rave drugs
And they do a cover of Dylan’s “The Mighty Quinn,” a la Manfred Mann.
DEFINITELY not better, Indigenous policy-wise.
Yeah, seeing as y’all are still involuntarily sterilizing indigenous women, there are no winners here
Uhhh, what’s wrong with the Eskimo? I know it’s not the most original type of ice-cream but it can’t be nearly as offensive as the R-word
Edit: Wait, Eskimo was … basically “Indian (Northern Division” .. I honestly thought it was just the ice cream ( and WW2 destroyer)… Well, this makes a tad more sense, also I think I need moar coffee, ’cause I’m going full [redacted]
Don’t get the reference, lol
As for the indigenous population of Canada (well, what’s left that hasn’t been systematically destoryed over the years), I thought they were called First Nations and Inuit, so I legit thought Eskimo referred to ice cream 😀
It’s a reference in the movie Heathers to the book Moby Dick
and if you ain’t seen Heathers, you need to fix that STAT
I’ve heard good things about it, but I haven’t seen it yet (though that’s about to change, ’cause I’m looking for something to pair with a Hitler black comedy I’m about to watch and this seems perfect)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Look_Who%27s_Back_(film)
in case someone’s interested – it’s really good and I think it’s on Netflix Stateside, so it’s probably reasonably well re-dubbed
Not trying to spoil it for you, but it starts out really great and goes down very quickly thereafter.
The Hitler one?
Issue with it mostly is that it’s not the name by which they refer to themselves. Some other Indigenous groups use a similar-sounding word that refers to them as “eaters of raw meat” in a pejorative sense… it’s kind of a loaded word so best to be respectful and use a term that they’ve suggested themselves – i.e. Inuit.
So are they now Inuit kisses and Inuit brothers?
I know, as I just replied to Zymm, I assumed that they were only called Inuit (to the north, and from the same general group as the Chuckchi in Russia) and First Nations (the indigenous population to the south) .. I think I recall something like Methis also being around there, but I’m too lazy to wiki it to jog my memory
Additional taek: Prosecco is incredibly overrated when you can get Cavas and Cremants that actually use the méthode classique instead of the Charmat method for the same price or less
Concur. Prosecco’s really only good for mimosas.
Uhhh, it’s also great to use to make some really fine marinades as well. It’s probably decent enough also to drink, but for some reason I can drink literal bucketloads of coffee a day (and not the weak-arse US stuff, I’m talking paint-thinner grade), but just a sip of wine and my stomach does a recreation of the Chernobyl explosion 😀
Also, sgroppino.
https://whatscookingamerica.net/Beverage/Sgroppino.htm
That looks fantastic
Forgot about those!
I consider all this cheese talk a borderline hate crime. BLECH
Dwayne Haskins’ lack of leadership leads to a muffed punt by Washington, recovered by Carolina for a touchdown smh.
Fumble was recovered by Zylstra, which is a big accomplishment for an allergy pill.
Ask your doctor if Zylstra is right for you.
He should ask some of the better leaders in the league which agency they use to hire strippers for their girlfriend’s birthday party
Looky loo, Black Panthers in front!!!
#FreeHuey
Free HUEYS?! WHERE?!? WHEEEEERE… I need one for spares and/or lulz, damn it!!!!!
Low-stakes taek : A spreadable cheese is always a cheese dip, but a cheese dip is not always a spreadable cheese
That reminds me, I have a wedge of brie I could heat up. Be right back!
At least both are united in that neither would be called cheese in most countries 😉
I’d call the Iggles-Cowpersons game a real clash of titans, but then again, it’s not being played in Nashville.
Too soon
Release the ass-crackin’!
Bengals have gone from #3 to #6 in the Draft Order. Fuck.
They should give up their first round picks for the next couple years to trade up a couple spots
Really, if you’re going to suck, you should be rewarded for it.
Seriously aren’t we doing Phrasing anymore
It’s not like you needed the franchise left tack…oh shit. Losing by winning indeed.
Brian Flores is mighty happy though (since he has the 500s’ 1st)
Who in the league best fits the role of anti-Brady? I.e. not only doesn’t get bailout calls, but also doesn’t get legitimate calls, and BS calls against them
Cam?
Maybe McNabb going further back?
Not sure, but I bet that person is not white.
Could it possibly be Rivers, or is that just because Rivers is always complaining vociferously but never gets shit? That’s kinda anti-Brady.
Or maybe the refs are big backers of Planned Parenthood.
I mean, you slay as much road trim as they do, one NEEDS some Roe v. Wade action.
Wilson some of the time. He gets hit every game without calls
G’evenin’ lads and lasses, how’re ya all on this fine-arse evenin’ ?
i legitimately want to punch every single piece of drywall in existence.
so yeah I’ve been better
Just relax, this bullshit too shall pass.. or alternatively, ask litre for some of the good stuff
Also, don’t ever hit drywall, unless you’re dead certain there aren’t cable runs behind it, or you’ll ruin your day (talking from scorched experience)
And now the Forbes 5 star game of the week
This would be a revenge game for Melvin, except that nobody gives a shit about this game.
Revenge is best served tepid and bland!
Couldn’t that Baker fumble be considered an (unintentional) hand-off/toss instead?
What are the rules considerations for tosses anyways? They’re clearly not fumbles, but there is a period of time when nobody’s got possession of the ball…
If it hits the ground, a pitch is indeed a fumble. But I think there is an “intent” competent. Good query.
So…NBC needs a Black Panther win, in order to get SNF next week.
“Failing to clinch” due to the tiny hands of Baker, Baker, the turnover maker. How very #ThePauls.
AFC North champions. I’m going to poop a diamond tomorrow.
Turns out Yinz didn’t even need to win, thanks to the runaway freight train Jest!
J just woke up to the happy news! Turns out, that’s the best way to deal with a Steelers game, sleep through it. Much less stressful!
I kind of like the idea of the 7-8 ‘Dacteds resting starters in Week 17, having already clinched.
It’ll be nice to get a preview of the second half of their home playoff game, when all their starters get injured in the first 20 minutes!
It will be a home fixture, so this checks out!
15 point fantasy swing and lack of alcohol make brocky go something something….
so in the span of roughly 10 minutes, the following occured:
1. Watson fumbled costing me not only points but denying the chance for another touchdown
2. Jacksonville getting a garbage time td against the bears defense
3. JuJu having the best game of his year entirely in the second half of this game
