My Scottish sister in law was supposed to go see her parents on Sunday, while she’s on Spring Break. Mum and Dad both have Covid. Vaxxed and boosted. This variety is hella contagious.
No way for me to confirm, but I’m guessing I might have had BA2 when I had my positive test in Argentina. I had so little close contact with anyone outside of people who were all negative that it must have been something super contagious. I’m blaming the loud drunk people in the shared ride van.
These are two older people who rarely leave the house. They never go anywhere without a mask, and the few places they do go (doctors, etc.) everyone is masked. No idea how they got it.
