Your sports choices tonight are Santos Laguna hosting León (5 PM Pacific) and Tijuana hosting Querétaro (7 PM Pacific) both on Fox Sports 2.

Other than that, you’ve got the NBA playoffs with the Miami Heat visiting the Atlanta Hawks with a 2-1 series lead (4 PM Pacific) and later the Phoenix Suns visiting the New Orleans Pelicans (God, that’s a stupid nickname!) also leading the series 2-1. Those games are on TNT.

The hockey regular season is winding down with a lot of playoff spots still up for grabs. I saw an article the other day on the ESPN website and the writer was arguing for expanding the NHL playoff field. That’s one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard.

If you’re going to expand the playoffs, you’re diluting the meaning of the regular season. Why play all those games if they don’t mean shit? BTW, I’m looking in your direction, Major League Baseball. Watch your ass with this Wild Card shit.

Don’t get me started on all the rule changes either. There’s a reason I don’t watch baseball or basketball anymore.

  • At least one episode of Tokyo Vice (also on HBOmax)
  • The Letterkenny International Women’s Day special (Hulu)

I’ve been a member of the VFW for over ten years because I am a national hero. I’ve always been an “at large” member, not affiliated with any particular post, mainly because in all those years I’ve never actually been in a VFW post.

Until today that is.

I drank all day. Ordered 2 servings of Birria tacos because 1 would not suffice.
Gained a couple lbs but still rocking my St. Kilda guernsey like a star. Still fits and I could play if need be.

Almost fought a Leeds fan because I channeled my inner Hippo and said they were going down.

Currently watching Mexi futbol drinking red wine. Happy place.

My Guatemalan friend Debbie had to bus an entire contingent of gringos from her son’s wedding because they couldn’t handle their tequila. She got coherent guests to make tags for them with the hotel they were staying at so the bus driver would get them to the right spot, so kudos on making it on your own!

Rest it and don’t try to go drunk running in China before it’s 100% because you’ll just re-injure it and miss out on beer stops

If you have tried all of the sound advice here and it doesn’t work active recovery works for me. You just work out slow and easy. For me resting it has never worked. I could rest for 2 weeks and I start back up with just as much pain. Active recovery takes a bit and you feel like a dweeb, but for me it’s the only thing that works. It’s not for everyone but I use it.

I really like pie (PHRASING), much much better than cake. But strawberry rhubarb is the best of all pies. It sounded odd to me, until I tried it. Old next door neighboUr was from CA, super nice dude (his wife and kids were cool too, never should have moved) actually BAKED US A FRESH ONE just because he was bored.

The ex had a texture aversion to strawberries, so I ate the whole motherfucking thing. Within 36 hours.
