The following teams are locked into The Eight: Sydney, Port Adelaide, GWS, and Geelong. Brisbane is for all intents and purposes IN the Eight as they are four points and 7.9 percentage points ahead of Fremantle.
The following teams have been eliminated: Richmond, North Melbourne, West Coast, Adelaide, Gold Coast, St. Kilda, Melbourne, and Essendon. Collingwood is for all intents and purposes OUT of the Eight as they are four points and 10.6 percentage points behind Carlton.
Fremantle is the only team out of the Eight that could still get in. Western, Hawthorn, and Carlton are the three teams in the Eight that could still drop out if they lose next week.
The following games will decide who gets to play finals: Western v GWS, Fremantle v Port Adelaide, Carlton v St. Kilda, and Hawthorn v North Melbourne. I think Hawthorn will stay in the Eight but everything else is up in the air.
BC Dick is making a late run and has taken over third place, only three behind Spam! Litre is only one back. A lot can happen in the last week and we continue the contest through the Grand Final!

If it had not been a natural occurrence (or was China just testing their new weather control machine), I would have been suspicious as Mike Lynch (one of the missing)’s co-defendant was recently killed by a hit and run.
Yeah I read that yesterday and though the same thing.
But it was simply wrong place at the wrong time. Boat was properly anchored in harbor but took a wicked tempest. I have read it’s single mast was the tallest of yachts of that class, which makes me suspect that it was top heavy for those conditions. I guess the investigation will tell.

Italian news now saying that the unusually tall, some would say over compensating, mast is the likely suspect. Other yachts of the same general size rode the storm out at anchor near by.
