College football starts TONIGHT! Which means that the off-season is over and real football is beginning. In honor of that, tonight I present to you a list of things I like that start with the letter F:

- Finals (the AFL kind)
- Flautas (the Mexican food)

I could go on. However, I need to move on.

College Football Update
We have several games on tap tonight:

The NFL preseason concludes tonight and then there’s a week and a half break until the first game. Soon, the games will actually count.

As I mentioned above, this is the last Saturday Night Open Thread I’m writing. Good luck to whoever takes over this space!
I am definitely taking an extra one or two days around the Labor Day weekend. I’ll work on stuff around the house, watch sports, and make Tiki drinks.
I am now the co-commissioner for the Freezer Vodka league! I will be relegated in the same way that Litre was. Good luck to all the participants, specially the newbies that promoted last year!
