Are you digging that Canadian Content in the banner pick?
Are you also looking for World International Hockey updates? Not bloody likely I’m sure but I’m the typer now.
Canada beats the U.S.
The Finns beats Czechia
Norway beats Latvia
The Swiss (looking very good on home country ice!) vanquish the Swedes. I’d normally call that an upset but the Neutrals are playing out of their minds.
Semi-Finals Ahoy!
Let’s Check The Obits!:
Claude Lemieux passed away (fucking guy, I mean, “god bless”) What’s bizarre a wee bit is that he stunk up the Habs center ice just this past Monday! Too soon? You can debate below but I think his worst contribution to the game was being a part of those 90’s Devils teams that tried to kill hockey. Thanks Jacques Lemaire, for introducing the equivalent of the Four Corner Offense to hockey, you shitty bastard. I have TSN on in the background and a guy just said, “Lemieux played two positions, right wing and prone on the ice”-he was a diver, you see.
Basketball!:
OKC tries to close out the Spurs tonight and it seems likely-the latter are close but the old sporty thinking is that teams led by young, blooming superstars need to pay their dues. So I’m gonna stick with that.
Back To This Tight End Thing:
What are the Chargers up to? They found a diamond in the rough in rookie Oronde Gadsen last year, they signed Charlie Kolar (a blocking tight end) to starters money (6 mil per year) and then brought David Njoku on board. They’ll have weird combos of those three, Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnson at wr and emerging star Hampton at running back. This offense might be interesting next year.
Do your thing, matey’s.
