Your “Oops, What Day is It?” Monday Night Open Thread

Good evening, and I regret to inform you that I let a catch up lunch with friends turn into a 2 martini lunch followed by an outing to the brewery for several more beers.  Actually, I don’t regret any of that, it just meant that I absolutely lost track of time and whole ass days.  When I woke up this morning, my plan was to crank out another morality post after lunch, so is drinking through that irony?

I’ll blame it (not just on the drinking but also) on the fact I drove to Ohio and back this weekend, which while generally frowned upon by the DFO clubhouse was a productive though exhausting sportsball trip.  More to come on that if I ever get my shit together and finish my BOTGs on the USAFL.

In the meantime, ummmmm, what do we have?  This weekend was Otakon in DC, and yes, I had to Google that to get the name right. I did, however, definitely notice the massive surge in cosplay around town, especially on the metro. Some local news coverage with pics here, but damn, those nerds put a lot of effort into their outfits, and not necessarily by covering a lot of themselves, especially the womenfolk. As they would say in Letterkenny, a bit young….

Anyway, let’s do a quick round up of what’s on the telly, and we can throw open the comment section to talk about how by the next time I fuck up an open thread post, NFL like substances will be back on the airwaves!

Mercury at Sky at 8PM on the U (No idea what that is)

Canadian U18s vs Swiss U18s (underway) on TSN1 and some other shit

Little League Softball on ESPN2 now and ESPNU at 8PM DFO Time
