Albuquerque is on the way to Pismo Beach.
Gumby was working in Albuquerque years ago while it was going on. I don’t think he went to any of the festival stuff, because he was working, but he saw a lot of balloons in the air. He said it was beautiful.
I’ve never been there for the balloon fiesta but have been there a few other times and like the city pretty well.
We were traveling on route 66 back in the 60’s and there was a massive hail storm and flooding.
Got so bad we spent the night in Albuquerque. Every fucking road was flooded out and I had some tacos that didn’t cooperate with my route 66 traveling ass.
That’s all I got.
My new projector/hammock arrangement is excellent! I have a choice of hammock chair or full size hammock with good drink/snack holders for each. The projector is further away so larger picture. Still might change the speaker placement but it’s not bad as is
