Carlton is on a roll! This was their toughest test to date and they passed it with flying colours. The Blues did not wilt at the end and got a deserved victory.

Another thing of beauty was GWS backing up last week’s big win with another big win. They are looking better and better and the season outlook is looking brighter and brighter.

Hawthorn took care of business against the Saints and is back on the top tier of the ladder. They are also improving after some recent setbacks.

The worst team in the league is, undoubtedly, Essendon. They fired their coach but did not get the new coach bounce. Instead, they lost by 30 to West Coast, a team that has been at or near the bottom of the ladder for almost three years now.

Finally, Fremantle took care of business against the reigning champs IN QUEENSLAND and are clearly the class of the league. Only one loss halfway through the season is pretty impressive!

The top three in the Tipping Contest remained the same as all got 5 picks correct. Yeah Right is still in a tie with Spam for first with Sharky right behind them only 2 tips behind. Don’t forget to put the tips in!

If you are a member of an AFL club or you got a Watch AFL membership, you should be able to watch every AFL and AFLW game, including replays. Game times vary between Australian afternoon and evening, which actually makes it easier for us in North America to watch as the games can be seeing in the evenings on Pacific Time and early mornings on Eastern time.

If you haven’t become a member of a club or signed up for the Watch AFL app, you can still watch the AFL and AFLW games in the USA on either FS1 or FS2 and in Canada on TSN. Showtimes can be found here on the Australian Football Association of North America website. But I do recommend that you join a club. It’s fun and they send you free shit.
