• Cam showed “no indications of concussion” last night, so that’s why he stayed in the game. Uh huh – and the Broncos D wasn’t headhunting.
  • Cam’s dad alleges chicanery & poor officiating, but not outright racism, in how he was treated during the game.
  • the money quote comes from Deadspin:
    • Cam said that he had to undergo concussion protocol in order to talk to the media, which means he received more medical attention before going on ESPN than before returning to an NFL football game against Von Miller.
• According to sources, sources say Sam Bradford is “quickly learning” the Vikings playbook.
  • Of course he is, because it’s:
    1. Hand the ball to AP.
    2. HAND THE FUCKING BALL TO AP!!!
    3. After the handoff, turtle on the field – we don’t need you getting a concussion.
    4. DON’T FUCKING THROW THE BALL!!!!!
  • I picture Mike Zimmer wrote it special for Bradford. Norv might try to experiment, and you can’t have that.
• Still with the Vikings: Teddy’s surgery went okay. He’s “optimistic”, but whenever I read the phrase “multi-ligament reconstruction” I pause a bit.
• Sad news: Sam Wyche is on a heart transplant list. Too bad he never got the ability to live without one from his time working for the Brown family.
• All players will be sporting 9/11 decals on their helmets Opening Sunday, in respect of the 15th anniversary. They should look nice next to all those kneeling Seahawks.
