He was kidnapped by Michael Jordan for about a week (yes, some of you will get that joke, some of you will not).
But MJ managed to not pawn him to pay gambling debts.

My Cat Didn’t Die Yet
I honestly don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. But for now, she’s just really tired. But she’s not in pain. So that’s a good thing.
I don’t think she’ll make it through the weekend. But then again, I didn’t think she’d make it through overnight last night. She’s a tough little shit. This is her in happier times…..
That’s from Christmas, three years ago, after she’d more or less taken over the Christmas tree. Which she does every year, anyway.

This Week in DFO
Everyone did some really great stuff this week, just like every week. And honestly, I can’t pick a favourite this week. Because all of you worked your asses off the whole week. But for me, the thing I enjoyed the most was the annual Hallowe’en stories.
But no lie, you guys killed it this year, no shit. So while there is no particular individual who gets Employee of the Week this week, I want to say how much I appreciate the….
And while it might sound like I’m being flippant here, I am not. I assure you.
The only way this website, this community (this family really because that’s really what we are) continues to flourish is with everyone’s help. Everyone’s input. Everyone’s voice. All of you are appreciated for the time and effort you put in to keep this place running.
Because, simply stated, without all of you it just wouldn’t be the same place. It wouldn’t be the place I’ve come to love.

I had a birth certificate, a photo ID, and utility bills proving my residency. But Tennessee decided that wasn’t good enough.

Wait…did the utility bills prove his residency in Tennessee, or Georgia? Because I would think the utility bills should be enough to prove that he lived at the address in Tennessee, and the Georgia ID’s would prove that he was the person listed on the utility bill. That *should* be enough. Unless he’s unwhite, of course, in which they’ll think of some other bullshit reason to prevent him from voting (perhaps he said his name too loud and the poll worker “felt threatened” so she called the police).
If his license is valid,he’s legally a Georgia resident and can’t vote in Tennessee.HE SHOULD WANT TO VOTE FOR GEORGIA’S GOVERNOR ANYWAY!

Depends on the state as to who is a legal resident. It says nothing about how long he’s been in Tennessee and and if he has taken up residence there. This is a terrible format to express it when there are plenty of people being disenfranchised who have done nothing that could even remotely bring their eligibility into question that they could’ve talked to – especially if they were black and that’s the only reason why they’re being disenfranchised since there are tens of thousands of people fitting those two criteria whose story a reporter could and should tell.
Instead, Vice went with some lazy ‘me me me’ navel-gazing bullshit because it’s Vice.
I’d suggest reading the article before pronouncing summary judgement. They are resents of Tennessee. The article was not “pulled”, it was corrected. The voter ID laws are meant to suppress different aspects of society, one which this individual belongs.
