It was a fairly long week at school. Cold & flu season has begun in earnest, combined with the calendar making Canadian Thanksgiving a week later than normal. The result was certain of my co-workers taking their sick days earlier than normal, and the site being shortstaffed to the point that I had to teach during the game Thursday night. It was stay & help or they cancel the course on the kids, who don’t deserve that type of treatment. I get paid extra, so I’m not exactly a saint about the whole thing, but I’m glad I’m no longer in admin & have to pretend that it’s normal operating procedure.

And my co-workers wonder why unions have such a negative perception in the media & public.

It starts off with great left wing politics, criticizing austerity and then shifts to Fleck’s transformation to Joker.

The liberal media reaction against this film is not based on fears of right-wing violence, but fear of how left it is.

It’s a damn tragedy that there will be no sequel to this film because I truly believe the world this Joker lives in, is the world where we get Batman that doesn’t kill, but I can’t say why as it’d be a spoiler.

So the pizza place fucked up and realized they had fucked up. I ordered an extra large, which after my surgery makes about 6 or 8 meals. Well, the fuckup was they made a large instead of extra large, but they realized it and sent out an extra large too, no charge for the large. I’m gonna get 10 or 12 meals out of the $23 I spent ($18 for pie, $5 tip) I spent. Nice.
