Welcome all to some Week 2 Quotables. We’re posting on Wednesday so you’ve all got a Color Rush-free short week. You can complain about it all you want but the [DFO] owners are always looking to spread around #content because they want this site to be a 7-days-a-week bookmark. Also, I’m kicking off an online OSHA training class today. As anyone who has read any posts around here about dealing with — what is this, just typical corporate lowest-common-denominator bureaucracy? — you can imagine the hell i am in for in the coming day(s). Please effectively entertain in the comment area. Oh good! This guy is just on his cell phone and he’s going to “call my guys to get them on” — which is code for, “I didn’t tell anyone we signed them up and just hoped someone would mail them their card for being on the sign up list.” So like a bunch of 4th graders, we’re delaying the class for the guy who couldn’t be bothered to be ready on time.
