Are we not entertained? (I’ve no idea of course because this is being typed at 2:30 EST). On to the next one…
To The Game!
Cowboys/Niners:
-Has Prescott righted his football ship? Down the stretch he had 11 INT’s in seven games but last week against a less-than-stellar Tampa D he had his way to the tune of 4 TD tosses and one rushing score.
-Game Manager Purdy (so they say) has at least 2 TD passes in his last seven games. One can do quite a bit of damage when surrounded by a suffocating amount of talent. More importantly, you’d think that an afterthought draft pick would be at a pick-per-game pace but he’s only had the 4-limiting mistakes is the key part of his success.
-With the game expected to be close it’s up to Brett Maher to get out of his own head and not leave points on the field. I’ve no doubt that the PAT problems have been fixed but what if they need a long-ish field goal at some point?
-Over the last part of the season DeMeco Ryans has increased his usage of two high safety sets, thus taking away longer throws towards the boundaries. Look for Dak! to work the middle of the field before taking some longer shots downfield.
-McCaffrey Time For Sure: The Dallas run D has given up 100+ yards rushing in 11 of 18 games and of those 11 six times the number has been 150 or more. They ‘held’ Tampa to 52 but that’s because Brady decided to throw 66 times.
-Two San Franny defenders will need to have bounce-back games. Nick Bosa was held without a pressure for only the 2nd time in his career last week-his 18.5 sacks this year say that he’s a much better player than that. Cb Charvarious Ward rarely gives up more than 50 yards to an opposing receiver but he was torched to the tune of 98 yards and a TD on six receptions last week.
Have at it.
A dropped interception by Diggs, another DB just tackling Kittle. Here comes the back-breaking stupidity I’ve come to know and loathe.
Right on schedule!
Diggs had that INT!
I would be so proud
philly fans grow up so fast
Next FF name: Kittle’s Gray Tongue.
Other than Philly’s ass-gaping of Los Gigantes, all of these games have been at least somewhat compelling.
God DAMN, George Kittle.
That ball hit all of Kittle’s bits.
KITTLE’D!
oh shit
Okays my HD feed is like a full sixty seconds behind cuz my reactions are late
WOWZERS
This looks like the Niners team that lost to the Bears, Broncos and Falcons this year.
Prescott missed a wide open WR, (Brown, I think), on the ball he forced to Lamb. He’s been pretty mediocre tonight.
He’s like the proverbial “girl with the golden curl” but in Black guy format
This still feels on script, it’s really the 4th quarter that is the most fertile territory for Cowderp
The key is to raise the hopes of Dallas fans before expertly and definitively dashing them
Time for another missed kick or seven.
Air Raid!
CeeDee Lamb is a good receiver.
Clearly I am not drunk enough if this game isn’t a huge 49ers lead.
Demarcus Lawrence is having a very nice game.
They’re almost in FG range
fuck Jerry Rice. overrated pussy
Following blasphemy with heresy. Stunning.
This is the kind of Hate I feel has a story attached to it
Defense kept that from being much worse. Can’t keep making them do that.
Nor can you run the kickoff back over the 50 and then punt!
That too!
No, no, let them keep doing it. It’s the only way they’ll learn.
That field goal was even better than the last one.
Maher will be perfect on field goals and oh-fer on PATs in the playoffs.
Novelty, Over
FG Good! HOLY SHIT
If this isn’t a fake field goal trick play I will be amazed
We’re 66.7% on our way to a Herman Cain!
We’re dying!?!?
Nailed It!
— B. Maher
whaddya know!
Well, here’s a FG from PAT position, so this should be a gimm…Oh. Oh right
I knew he had it all the way.
/huffs more paint
lucky that wasnt another pick
NGCP immediately in FG range*

dun dun DUN!
great fumble by the niners to put the cowboys in fg position
Finally a lucky break fort Dallas
SUDDEN POTENTIAL FOR CHANGE!
Even that turnover didn’t feel particularly exciting

Kickin’ successful extra points for Dallas may have been the hahlaht of your lahfe, but ah don’t want your lahfe!”
This game is boring.

yea i bet hes doin exactly that, jimmy
moar liek san fransisko 69ERS amirite lmao #gobless
FIELD GOAL!
Niiiice!
9-6 at halftime, not bad.
Pollard being out is HUGE. Dak! is not playing smart.
Coach: (Yells at Brock Purdy for nearly running out the clock)
Purdy: “Go ahead, Coach. Bench me and put in Garoppolo. I dare you!”
NOICE!
That’s not Purdy’s fault, that was a stupid series of coaching decisions.
Pretty sure Reggie White is looking up.
This is Mike McCarthy level clock management by Shanahan
Salvador Dali school of clock management
Ow, my feels.
