As you may remember, the Opening Round turned into a disaster with two out of the four games getting cancelled due to Cyclone Arthur. Thus, I decided to NOT write a recap last week for two games. That means this week you get a recap for those two games plus all of Round One. Here we go!

Notes and Comments
Adelaide looked really good in beating up on St. Kinda. Are they actually good? This week’s game against Essendon will be a good test…
I wouldn’t put too much stock into the first few rounds but I will say that Collingwood and GWS are both going to be very good this year. Their Opening Round match was a beauty. I’m very happy that BFC was able to attend! I’m sure a Boots in the Ground post is coming…
The Sydney Swans were in the Grand Final last year and now they’re 0 and 2. However, they’re not that bad. I expect them to rebound soon. On the other hand, Carlton looked really bad. They need to fix that very quickly before they lose too many points although I doubt they beat Hawthorn this week.
Is Gold Coast good or is West Coast bad? Maybe a little of both? All I know is that Adelaide and Gold Coast both changed their logos and they both blew out their opponents.
Next week will tell us a lot about how even the competition is this year. Either the standings bunch up or it will be clear that there are a few elite teams and then everyone else.
Congratulations to Shark bait for jumping into first place in our Tipping Pool! Also, well done to BFC for getting his tips in while on a trip all the way in Australia! Do you reckon he got inside info?!?
If you are a member of an AFL club or you got a Watch AFL membership, you should be able to watch every AFL and AFLW game, including replays. Game times vary between Australian afternoon and evening, which actually makes it easier for us in North America to watch as the games can be seeing in the evenings on Pacific Time and early mornings on Eastern time.
If you haven’t become a member of a club or signed up for the Watch AFL app, you can still watch the AFL and AFLW games in the USA on either FS1 or FS2 and in Canada on TSN. Showtimes can be found here on the Australian Football Association of North America website. But I do recommend that you join a club. It’s fun and they send you free shit.
See you next week!
@Horatio as far as mock drafts are concerned-best senior year ever
Duly noted.
New head coaches for some, miniature American flags for others?

Wooo! I fully expect to crash and burn. I need to pick a team to support before I go down. Other than Tasmania of course.
Lucky for you the internet is here to help!
There are a few of these decision trees out there, along with a bunch of quizzes

Oh, and guess what’s on the first page of image search results? This from Balls in 2017!

Dreadful start for Essendon, both for that game and for the season.
Thanks for the TV schedule link! Please include it every week.
