Monday Night Open Thread – the Dust Bowls of my Mind

This song always makes me think of just getting lost in your own world and time passing you by.  That is my interpretation, and I am going to stick to it.  That being said, it has been more like the dust bowls of my mind as I got nuthin, nothing growing on the bare sterile plains of my mind.  My interest in Trench Crusade waned quickly once the political bullshit started, funny about how a game based entirely around religion is getting shit because it is based entirely around religion.  The company that made Star Wars:X-Wing suddenly closed up shop just as I was getting into playing that (wish I had bought the ships, they were pretty cool at least.

So I got nothing for this evening really, I did get told that I looked Dhalmeresque in one of the glasses frames I tried on.  i did not get those, I prefer the Ted Bundy look myself.  The trapezoid shaped lens on one pair that was brought to my attention made me really wonder about the motivations of the young lady helping me.

Anyway, the Draft is coming up.  Don’t care until the actual event, then I will watch just for the lols and for the interactions with the kommeteriat.

Oh, and that was a great the Padres had last night.  Fun game to watch.
