Okay. What the actual fuck, GWS?!? HOW? How the hell do you lose to Essendon?!? And then Toby gets hurt?!? Out 3 to 4 weeks. And the rumor is that the Cats want him. Things are not good in Giants land…
The Cats, for their part, took care off business against the Saints at home. The margin should have been bigger but they took their foot off the gas. They also dealt with their own injury issue with Max Holmes expected to be out for an extended amount of time.
Meanwhile, the Dockers continue rolling towards finals. They overcame a feisty Port side that actually led at Half Time. However, Fremantle is developing a habit of overwhelming teams in the second halves of games. That will bode well during finals.
Collingwood won again and is now firmly in finals places. With some luck, the Pies could sneak into the Top Six. This week’s game against Adelaide will be a true test and will tell us whether they can actually make some noise during finals.
The peloton has caught Sydney. This week’s loss to Adelaide means that they could potentially drop out of the Second Chance.
Finally, Sharky and Game Time Decision both got the top scores this week in the tipping pool. There is still time to catch Spam. He’s due for a bad week, isn’t he? Don’t forget to put the tips in!
If you are a member of an AFL club or you got a Watch AFL membership, you should be able to watch every AFL and AFLW game, including replays. Game times vary between Australian afternoon and evening, which actually makes it easier for us in North America to watch as the games can be seeing in the evenings on Pacific Time and early mornings on Eastern time.
If you haven’t become a member of a club or signed up for the Watch AFL app, you can still watch the AFL and AFLW games in the USA on either FS1 or FS2 and in Canada on TSN. Showtimes can be found here on the Australian Football Association of North America website. But I do recommend that you join a club. It’s fun and they send you free shit.
See you next week!
