This week, we had 8 games due to the byes. Next week, we’ll have 7 as the byes continue. That’s weird. I don’t get it. Anyhoo, let’s get to it!

Notes and Comments
The games were very close this week. Even Geelong’s big win over Gold Coast wasn’t as easy as the score indicates. It looks like the bad teams are getting better while the good teams are regressing.
This does not apply across the board as the shitty Richmond Tigers got destroyed by Sydney. Also, North Melbourne beat West Coast, but does that really say anything to anyone about how good they are?
#1 Collingwood does not look as unbeatable as before after barely escaping a giant upset at the hands of Melbourne. Have teams figured them out? A little luck like having the opponent kick the ball directly to you enabling you to run out the clock helps too.
Conversely, Melbourne, who beat Sydney by 53, got their asses handed to them by St. Kilda, now ALMOST beat the best team in the league. They are a real Jeckyl and Hyde team.
Next week, we have four teams on bye: Collingwood, Gold Coast, Sydney, and Richmond. The Pies could probably use the time off after this week’s crazy win over Melbourne to try to figure out what went wrong.
Almost everyone is within 9 picks of first place! That’s great hustle!! SonOfSpam still leads with roughly half the season remaining. Anything can happen!
If you are a member of an AFL club or you got a Watch AFL membership, you should be able to watch every AFL and AFLW game, including replays. Game times vary between Australian afternoon and evening, which actually makes it easier for us in North America to watch as the games can be seeing in the evenings on Pacific Time and early mornings on Eastern time.
If you haven’t become a member of a club or signed up for the Watch AFL app, you can still watch the AFL and AFLW games in the USA on either FS1 or FS2 and in Canada on TSN. Showtimes can be found here on the Australian Football Association of North America website. But I do recommend that you join a club. It’s fun and they send you free shit.
See you next week!
