As you are reading this, I am currently not in Seattle awaiting the banal gore that will be the Seahawks home opener on Sunday. The dog sitter’s elderly mother died, and there wasn’t time to make other arrangements, so my brother will be enjoying the carnage without me.

Aside – they kept watering down Venom into uncoolness.

However, as we heard Joe & Troy repeat ad nauseum on Thursday night, Seahawks-Cowboys is America’s Game of the Week on FOX.

Which I thought loved America.

So why are they punishing America with this game? Is it because the DUMMYCRATS! are holding up the Kavanaugh vote? Quick – someone ask professional sports owner Mike Bidwell whether he was at that party.

After all, they were tight running buddies, so maybe he admitted something. It seems a hell of a lot more practical than forgiving an 18 year-old Brett Kavanaugh for allegedly committing a worse crime than what got 18 year-old Trayvon Martin killed.

So technically my diet just ended and I’m celebrating by eating a shitty peanut butter sandwich on wheat bread with some cookies. I lost 53ish pounds. I’m going to keep going come Monday because I have a set goal and it’s not where I am now.

Anyway, I’m cooking a steak and veggies on the grill and trying to think of other ways to ruin myself. I could’ve just gotten pizza, you know.

I think you’re misunderstanding me. I like my characters, or at least the more mainstream ones, to look the way they look in the comics. That’s a me thing. I am excited to see Joaquin tackle the Joker. But then again, I was pumped for Leto, but they shit the bed with that Joker. (Though, if you look at the new generation of rappers, I think it’s a generational thing, as Letos Joker seems to resonate with youths)

And FWIW, I have found the DC films to be better than the last string of Marvel films by a large margin.

I also find it amusing that the same people who shit on DC for being gritty are loving Marvel’s turn to grit. Or the fact that they think Superman is over powered, but are loving Captain Marvel’s trailer.
