It just dawned on me that I was supposed to be writing tonight’s Open Thread. AGAIN!
WOOPS!
Fuck me in the goat ass. I swear one of these weeks I’ll remember and prepare.
Things to discuss:
I played golf in the rain AGAIN on Thursday. I didn’t do as well as the last time. I have a charity golf tournament on Monday where I plan to grab all the free shit I can get and drink copious amounts of alcohol.
Wish me luck.
The México-USA game this week was pretty fun, wasn’t it? All I have to say is that Canada better win on Sunday. If they don’t, I don’t think they’ll ever win anything.
A lot of Euro Qualifying games were on today. Hope you watched some on replay. I’m currently watching Scotland-Norway. I should order some haggis for dinner. Does anyone know a good haggis place in LA? Dunstan?
I’m very excited about the Women’s World Cup in Australia this year! Thank you to all of you that have volunteered to write team previews! Anyone interested please let me know in the comments.
I want to congratulate BFC on his Giants. They have really turned the season around and have a decent chance to make finals. Plus, you kept Fremantle below Geelong in the standings, so good on ya mate!
Enjoy the arvo!
Great phone conversations tonight. Talked to godson and his mom who is, omitting family obviously, one of my best friends ever. We go back 40 years.
After our crazy ass days she manifested into a palliative nurse.
Three out of five days a week she holds the hand of people who are going on.
To the next step.
On her vacation, she volunteers for summer camps for kids whose parents maybe weren’t supposed to be shepherd on just yet.
She’s amazing. And so good at her job.
Gave me a different look on life.
My late younger brother Jimmy was also a palliative nurse. He was loved by his clients, all of whom were dying; Jimmy took care of them. One client left him a beautiful Cadillac before he died.
Being good at this is empathy and just listening.
So many people die without any family around them.
A calm caring person just holding your hand.
Who could ask for more?
Today I booked a flight back east, and on the return leg I’m staying overnight with two full days in Detroit to see the Henry Ford Museum, Greenfield Village, and the River Rouge plant.
You should take some Elmore Leonard for the flight.
I’m going to take some opiates with alcohol. It makes the plane go faster.
I’m still trying to process an international flight that’s 23 hours including time change.
Weird stuff happens with time changes. I’ve flown from Asia and arrived before I left because of the date line
I once got drunk in San Francisco on a Sunday and then woke up in China on a Wednesday . True story.
That dude’s got some big tits. I suppose this is what all the kids like nowadays.
The Ford Museum is bitchin’.
Here’s picture of the inside of a tunnel I was driving through at the time. If this was a Fellini film this would represent sex of some kind or another. To me it’s just a road tunnel.
Unlike some vaginal canals I’ve been through, it’s pretty clean!
$20 cash to anyone who can identify the tunnel. I’ll give it to you too.
Hint: it’s in Southern California
P.S. That’s US $20
P.P.S. You only get one guess each. Make it count.
Hill street Bridge near the Dorothy Chandler pavilion.
nope
Dammit
It’s the “Duel” tunnel on Soledad Canyon Road near the 14 past Santa Clarita.
We have a winner. I owe balls $20 at his earliest convenience.
WOOOOOOOO!!
We’ll need to meet for a drink!
Any time!
What is the undercarriage of your mother, Trebek?
Huggy Bear is officially out. Some pretty big mumus to fill.
“Out” as in “unconscious”?
I drove this road today
It was all yours too.
I warned them to stay away from me (via bashing into other cars left and right) and goddamit they did. Even the Highway patrol stayed away from me, and wisely so. Ponch and Johnny would have been goopy stains on a bridge abutment, and nobody wants to see that, so I just went home undisturbed. God bless you all.
Happy Father’s day to all of the Dad’s livin the thug life.

I come from THE STREET yo, and I likes to think I can still kick it.
I used to come from a street, but now I live on an avenue
because YOU FANCY!
I’ve lived on pretty much all of them. Street, Avenue, Road, Court, Drive, Way…
Have you ever lived on a street? Oh wait you said that first, my mistake.
I’ve gotta go to bed, but Go Carlton!
Here’s the main command center in my studio. Whether I’m crafting extraordinary VFX shots for the latest Hollywood blockbuster thriller or making hilarious posts on obscure dick-joke websites with maybe twenty viewers, this is where the magic happens.
My work has been praised everywhere from U.S. Naval Proceedings to The Journal of the American Medical Association to Modern American Lesbian: everyone enjoys my unique and witty takes on everything. This of course includes you. Subscribe today. May Christ’s love be with you. Now
blow megive me money. (/edited)Is that a Navy mug with Dolphins? Gumby has one from the Nebraska. They were the commissioning crew, got all kinds of swag.
wait, Brick is George F. Kennan??
thinkin’ and doin’ are two different things
Those are cool. He was on one of the 41 too.
I’ll sell him my mug for a hundred dollars. God bless our veterans.

Do I get a free subscription to Modern American Lesbian with my Brick Meathook subscription?
Balls, for an extra two dollars I can get you a subscription to Modern Ukrainian Big-Tit Lesbian magazine (print and digital), normally only available through specific NATO channels.
Count me in!
Balls, if you’re in a buying mood, I’ve also got a source for Modern European Gigantic Ass magazine, which is still published quarterly with the best photography on the finest glossy color print stock. This is hard to get, but I can arrange it for you for an extra three dollars.
Can you throw in the Latin American Gigantic Asses limited edition? I’ll pay top dollar!
That’s an extra dollar, but yeah I can do that
I hear they have a guide to different flannel tartans this month
Outstanding buyers guide to Subarus
Quite a party at the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture. Not like this under Spain, surely
I think Spain mostly just tortured people and built giant fuckoff churches back then. This party with what looks like maybe the holy grail seems way more fun
Look away from the Ark
The strawberries have been great this past month.
One of the women I ride horses with brought a bunch of cherries to the barn today since they have a ton on a tree. They are delicious and there will probably be more on Monday. So much good fruit in season right now
Pineapple and mangoes 🥰
Free fruit! We will be buying all kinds of fruit tomorrow morning. Apricots, plums, peaches, and mangoes.
Ginormous berries now.
[glances down]
Well I’m not sure I’m comfortable with the Dr. Mrs. sharing those kinds of details, but…thank you.
Over the past 10 years a number of the dairy farms along my local run routes have turned in the cows and converted to horse stables. It’s a growing and popular past time.
Watching a Korean medical drama…
Maybe watch something else then? Or figure out fun places where the writers could add tentacles next time?
This was not a program that was selected by me. If I had my way we’d be watching Benny Hill reruns.
The tentacle game would be really easy with Benny Hill
WOOOOOOOOOOOO
That was an ass kicking, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Just think what that team can do if healthy.
Seriously. You have a good chance this year!
I don’t suppose he talkin’ ’bout the #BFIB ,, smgdh
The second worst team in the National League? Why would I bother talking about them?

When does the SoCal DFO contingent run through LA Country Club with NFL and AFL scarves wrapped around their ding-dongs? I’ve been waiting all day…
Probably because now that they own the PGA, the Saudi royal family would have us sliced up with box cutters and throw us overboard in the Pacific to be eaten by sharks.
I have been to Riviera for the tourney there. Golf tournaments are more boring to attend than to watch on TV.
Professional golf is dead to me now. Not that I ever paid much attention in the first place. Hey, the Firebirds are tied with those Hershey Bears at the end of regulation. The local Palm Springs tv guy just interviewed two of the Firebirds’ girlfriends, lol. They look young enough to be on a milk carton. Whoever wins this one goes up 3 games to 2, and game 6&7 back here.
3 regulation shut outs and down 3-2. We’re on to CV!
