Greetings, folks.  I write this after having gone out to dinner with some friends who know the owners of the restaurant, (and who I suspect bankrolled at least some of it), and let me tell you, an unexpected friends and family discount appearing on the bill after a good three hours of various wines, beers, appetizers and far too much pasta than is healthy, is a true delight.  My stomach is groaning in all kinds of weird but good ways.

Speaking of sound effects…

this week’s mock draft idea comes from the esteemed Rikki-Tikki-Deadly.  No doubt inspired by the near constant hum of vacuuming COMING FROM INSIDE THE HOUSE, Rikki has suggested “movie sound effects.”  As RTD notes this could be a tough one, but they can’t all be “let’s fuck a cartoon”; at some point we need to put a little work in, and this does lend itself to some interesting choices.

Rikki has the first pick, and he’s gone with Die Hard’s scene where the vault opens to the tune of Beethoven’s 9th:
