Okay, I’m gonna do my best to not wax poetic about last night’s WBC final and the top of the 9th. But even though you can’t predict baseball, Suzyn, sometimes, you can predict baseball, Suzyn. Because we all wanted to see it, and we all could predict it. That, Jeter’s last at-bat, several other things that I can’t think of off the top of my head.
All I can say is that I was definitely not watching the 9th inning on a friend’s phone while he commentated, as I was driving us back from a gig and doing 80 on the Garden State. That definitely did not happen.
So with that, the news:
-QAARON’S QAVE WATCH QONTINUES. And so far, absolutely nothing of note as the Jets and Packers front offices continue to jostle for “leverage.”
–Canadian billionaire joins bidding for football team based in American capital. I assume fans will react reasonably.
–P*ts re-sign CB Jalen Mills to a one-year deal. The team was originally planning to release him.
-Falcons re-activate retired DT Eddie Goldman
–N-GCP sign RB Ronald Jones.
In non-football, “this fight’s never gonna happen” news, Fury-Usyk is back in jeopardy! Undisputed heavyweight champion of the world is back off the menu!
