DFO Prediction Contests Update – Week 1

As I promised in the initial post announcing our prediction contests, here is your weekly update:

Eliminator Challenge ($200 prize in cash or donation to Wounded Warriors)

There was some blood shed on Week One, my friends.  It was like a middle school girls restroom out there.  20 entries, including mine, were told

Out of the original 77 entries, only 57 remain alive.  Among the eliminated were a lot of the writers of this here site.  Which basically goes to show you that we are the embodiment of this cute guy:

DFO Spreads Wide (picking against the spread, Prize = A grab at OSZ’s bag of goodies)

Senor Weaselo and TrollSoHardU are tied at the top with 12 correct picks. Clipboard Jesus is alone in second with 11 and there are eight entries tied for third with 10.  There are another eight entries with 9 and a further six entries with 8.  At the bottom, two people forgot to pick games and have 0 correct picks.  WordPress doesn’t usually like tables, but let’s see if this doesn’t screw things up too much:

Senor Weaselo again tops the standings with 12 correct picks and is tied with someone who used the generic ESPN username as their entry name.  Reveal thyself, co-leader!  There are 8 entries tied for second with 11 picks and a further 10 with 10 and 13 with 9.  Again, two DFOers forgot to enter in picks and are at the bottom with 0 correct picks.  Here is the table:
