I woke up this morning and for some reason there was a “giddy-up” in my step. Huh. The two over-easy eggs that I made tasted much better than usual. Weird. Later on at work a strategy I’ve been labouring on to increase revenue came into sharp focus. Interesting. The air seemed cleaner, the sun?-brighter. After some serious soul, er, score-searching I realized what was happening. The Pats, those oh-so-wonderful Pats, won’t, will not, can’t be playing in the Super Bowl. Here’s to you New England, for making a normally lousy day transform itself into a magical one.

I made reference in my intro to the NFC tilt yesterday that scribbling shitheads would have to do some walking back on their opinions of The Cam were the Panthers to win. LET THE BATAAN REVERSE SMIRK DEATH MARCH BEGIN! One thing I didn’t think of was how those same non-basement-dwellers would passive-aggressively deal with a Denver win. Tonight the NBA gives us one good game-Spurs/Warriors. Aside from that it’s a bunch of boring teams that are within a few games of .500 “battling it out”. Sound familiar, AFC South/NFC East? The hockey gives us Wings/Isles, Bruins/Flyers and Coyotes/Twins(?). The college ball has *giggles* ‘NUMBER 24’ Duke up against #15 Miami and #4 KU hoping not to get court-stormed by #14 ISU. GO GET ‘EM, COMMENTARIAT!
