I watched Blade Runner 2049 and enjoyed it quite a bit. The internet does not feel the same.

I had the same feeling while watching it. If it was like 20 minutes shorter, it would be everyone’s favorite movie.
I appreciated the cinematography, sound, and initial acting most. I could go with tightening up the last 1/4 of the movie’s script; less Decker. But I still enjoyed that part. I like scifi a lot so I’m a bit forgiving sometimes, also I don’t like a lot of movies that are popular.

They did a lot better than most movies. Some thing were simply plot driven, true, but compared to some things in the “realistic” Gravity I thought they at least got some thing right. Also it is science FICTION. I thought the worst things were the “only this guy pilot” routine and some other cowboy writing were the things that bugged me the most.
