I like baseball. That’s not exactly a secret, I suppose.
But what you folks might not realize is that I like baseball just for the sake of baseball itself. What I mean by that is that I enjoy watching baseball even when I don’t have a particular rooting interest. Weird, but true.
If you don’t appreciate the intricacies of baseball, then you’re probably stupid. Or just not watching closely enough. Or maybe both.
Seriously, I’m really not joking here. Just about every person I’ve ever met who has made it their passion to tell me how much they hate baseball? Well, they mostly turned out to be either stupid or not particularly observant. Or both. Sorry, but it’s true.

Stadiums
Years ago, a good friend of mine, and myself, toured the east coast hitting various Minor League parks. It was fun to say the least. I wouldn’t trade that for anything.
Moreover, I always thought someday that I’d do a summer tour of Major League parks as well. Unfortunately, so far, that hasn’t happened. But I still hope.
That being said, I have managed to hit several Major league parks from time to time….
- Baltimore (obviously) – Memorial Stadium (before it was gone), also of course, Camden Yards
- Philadelphia – Veterans Stadium (before it was gone)
- Pittsburgh – Three Rivers Stadium (before it was gone)
- New York – Old Yankee Stadium (before it was gone)
- Cincinnati – Riverfront Stadium (before it was gone)
- Cleveland – Municipal Stadium (before it was gone)
- Atlanta – Fulton County Stadium (before it was gone)
Wow, this is getting depressing now. I think I need to update my baseball stadium resume. Starting now….

Petco Park
I’ve never been to Petco, before. But by the time you read this, I will have been there. And still will be….unless they’ve kicked me out by now. Hopefully not, but…. No promises.
And I am very much looking forward to it. Low Commander of the Super Soldiers, a few of his closest friends, and myself will be seated in Petco tonight, getting ready to watch the Padres host the Cards.

Look how fucking cool that place looks. If you don’t see beauty there, then I don’t even know you.
Go ahead, it’s OK. You can admit that you’re jealous. Really…It’s OK. I would be jealous too if I wasn’t there right now. Honestly. But I am there right now.
Suck it, peasants.
(And that ladies and gentlemen, is called karma)

Last Minute Addendum
Aaaaaaand, you can forget all of that I wrote up there. “Circumstances” have made it such that I couldn’t get to San Diego on time tonight. I’m very disappointed.
I also might need to call a plumber, but that’s a whole other matter. Never you mind about that!!!!!

However, LCSS has assured me that he and his peeps will still go to the game and have some fun for me.
So in honor of those fine folks, the theme remains the same.
Plus running in and out of the bathroom gives me little time to change it at this point anyway, sooooo….. Yeah.

So, Some Baseball Sexy
Yes, I did a baseball theme last year, I know. But this year, in observance of tonight’s attendance, it’s a Padres’ and Cardinals’ girls Sexy night.
Don’t like it? Tough shit. I won’t be around to hear your complaints because I’m at a baseball game in San Diego. Probably drunk. Possibly high. So how much of a fuck do you think I give right now?
Exactly.
But I do hope you enjoy….

Ooooof. I’d like to have batting practice with her. Holy shit.
OK. That’s it. Soooooo….. In the words of Charlie Kelly…
That’s baseball, baby!!! California, USA. What do now? They got chicken in Philly?

Why Charlie, that’s my favorite kind of girl. How fortunate.
Also…this guy was hanging outside my window yesterday afternoon. I thought the price was fair, but by the time I got downstairs he had moved on.

Oh well.
Later Taters.
Love ya’s.
