Balls’ AFL Beat Update!

I’ve been a bad Ballsy. Just been crazy busy and I haven’t gotten the AFL Beat posted on time for the last two weeks. I’ll try to do better, I swear.

In the meantime, here is an abbreviated update of where we are:

The Adelaide Crows won the AFLW Premiership over the Melbourne Demons in a close and well-played game. This is their third championship overall in the 6 year history of the competition.

Gillon McLachlan, the CEO of the AFL, announced that he is stepping down from his role at the end of the season. The competition is now on to see who replaces him. He’s been a great head of the AFL and whoever follows him will have gigantic shoes to fill (He’s about 6′ 6″)

Entering this weekend’s games, the Melbourne Demons are atop the ladder and are the only undefeated team. The Port Adelaide Power are the Wooden Spooners and are the only winless team left.

SonOfSpam won the AFLW Tipping Contest and is adding another Gently-Used Fleshlight to the Spam Household Mantle.
