Ape already went through the reasons why he quit and why KSK is no more. In short, Uproxx, who had hosted the site with little to no oversight for years, made it impossible for Ape and the writers to produce good, fun, and funny content in the manner that the site had always been run. They undercut the site’s SEO by promoting Uproxx Sports at the expense of KSK and they began exercising editorial control of both kontent and komments.

Since Black Friday however, Uproxx has shown just how deep their gutless turditude goes. It began by editing Ape’s goodbye post by removing the link to the copy of the deleted Bud Light #UpForWhatever post. Then, comments that were critical of Uproxx and the way they handled KSK began to disappear. Before long, myself and other kommenters were banned from posting comments on all of Uproxx’s network. All of my comments for the last three weeks, whether related to their cowardice or not, were deleted. No explanation was given.

How thin-skinned of a sack of shit do you have to be to ban critical comments ON THE FUCKING INTERNET? Have they ever been on the Internet? The comments sections of most internet sites is generally about as intelligent and well behaved as if you put White Doug, Louis Gomert, and an angry possum in an AOL chat room devoted to Planned Parenthood. (Uproxx would probably love that chat room though. They’d probably post a full review and then every 3 months they’d post a new article entitled “7 EPIC TAKEDOWNS YOU MAY HAVE MISSED FROM THE EPIC LOUIS GOMERT,WHITE DOUG AND EPIC ANGRY POSSUM EPIC DEBATE. EPIC.”).

It seems that Uproxx has decided that it’d rather be known as the Sarah Palin’s Facebook page of pop-culture websites than allow any dissent within their ranks. And I’m proud to say that DTZM has reported to us that in just the past 7 days, this little blog has gotten more than 5,000 unique visitors.

So I say with great pride and joy to our former Uproxx overlords: FUCK YOU, TWAT WAFFLES. We are doing just fine over here.
