I spent today driving wifey to work, various doctor’s appointments, picking the wifey back up, filling new prescriptions, getting a much needed haircut, installing my parents’ third printer since September (seriously, guys?!), picking up said scripts, and scrambling home in time for Game 7 of Sharks-Preds. It’s another Game 7, and it can’t be as lousy as last night’s, right? RIGHT?!
Anyway, there’s also NBA playoffs, and Archer at 22:00 EST/21:00 DFO.
Also, I’m feeling better today than I have since last Saturday, so progress!

Tonight’s Archer was absolutely great. This season has been nothing short of wonderful.
One of their best shows. “Gluella d’Ville” “No one cares about Doonesbury” etc., etc.

Rec league soccer final tonight. We bounced the undefeated team (we lost to them on a gimmie goal during the season) last week as the 3-seed and are taking on the 4-seed for the championship. I’m guessing NBC is glad they didn’t pony up $40million for broadcast rights to our league.

Today was a long day at work. I like to get in early so I can leave early. However, when most of the people on your team, including your boss, all like to come in late and leave late, this can occasionally lead to working 10 hour days at late notice. On the plus side, I can totally work a half day tomorrow!
Also, when I got home I had two packages. One contains the adapter I need to finally mount my fancy ceiling fan! Since my building is a pre-1920’s building, it used to have gas fixtures, or possibly (or actually probably, given the wiring setup) combination gas/electric fixtures called gasoliers. As a result, the old gas pipe extends down through the outlet box (which is modern and rated for fans) and about an inch past the ceiling, so I need to extend the outlet box. Turns out that these old pipe systems are pretty awesome. They’re generally rock solid, to the point where you can just screw a 70 lb chandelier onto the end and it’s installed. In some places they’re still a part of the active gas lines for the house. That’s not the case with mine, as it’s uncapped and you can look up it, so hooray for learning about history and hooray for history not blowing me up!
